Hi
Will OpenPli support CA module and CI+ in the future, like other Image do ?
Most Providers will use CL+ in the future and som of the best already do

Will OpenPli support CA module and CI+ in the future, like other Image do ?
And how exactly is PLi going to do that, if you keep in mind that the sole purpose of CI+ is exactly preventing this?

There is no need to replace the enigma2 file like on other boxes.
This sounds as it should be.... In theory this also doesn't belong to Enigma2...

Same happens with oscam... There are countless closed source variants from it with special abilities and all kind of fixes but never ever someone is giving back anything.
I destest such behaviour but it seems normal for some folks: grab all you can, change some bits and pieces and release it as if it was your own creation.
Too bad, if we are able to work together much more progress and improvement can be achieved with less effort.

But for at least the vu boxes openpli needs to re-invent the trick.... And when it seems a "if vu then" patch in enigma2 is required it also might be we pass....
As far I understand ci+ on openpli is supported on hd2400...
If CI+ is supported on openPLi on HD2400 why do you have to re-invent it for Vu+ ? Aren't all boxes supported by openPLi using the same basic system with "just" different drivers? And since VTi is able to add CI+ support the VU+ drivers should generally support it, correct?
Sorry if this is a stupid question, I'm just trying to unterstand the situation.
