I have OpenPLI installed on my VU+ Solo2 box with a motorised dish. But I have some issues with this setup.

 

1. After I scan for channels the channels get listed on the channel list. But when I try to play some of the channels I am getting the following error

 

Service not found (SID not found in PAT)

 

What could be the issue? Is there some thing wrong with ,my dish setup? How to solve this issue?

 

2. In setup -> Service Searching, I only have AutoBouquets (28.2E). How could I have AutoBouquets for other satellites as well, like 9E, 13E, 19.2E etc.  I tried Plugins -> Download Plugins, but couldnt find any option for this. Also If I download AutoBouquets, do I have to scan for channels for the respective satellite?

 

3. How to display time in 12 Hr format. It is displaying time in 24Hr format?

What is so funny about it? People ask doubts here that they cant solve themselves. Please dont bully even though you cant help.

Hi,

I assume you are new in the satellite scene. Iwill try to give some answers / solutions.

1. Do you get those messages on channels where you used to get a picture? I don't think so. I suspect you browse a bit through the channellist and hope that you get a picture on any channel. I this case I have to disappoint you. And this has nothing to do with your dish setup.
2. If you open the channellist you can choose yellow for satellites. There you can choose the desired satellite and browse through that particular channellist. I would advise you to make a personnel channellist with dreamboxedit or dreamset. Both are channelediters. You also could download a ready made channellist via menu - applications - green button - settings, and there you choose the list which matches your standard.
3. There is no possibility to change the time to a 12 hours format.

2. How to download the AutoBouquets or Similar for other satellites other than 28.2E. AutoBouquets is available only for 28.2E. I want to have the latest settings for other satellites channels as well. How to do this? I prefer automatic download.

Also how to just display TV in the channels list and NOT radio. Any plugins / extensions for this?

1. In case a channel has been scanned it doesn't mean you get a picture on all channels. I assume you are aware of that. I am curious which subscriptions you have.

2. There is no auto bouquet plugin for other satellites. So use your imagination and do it by hand with the dreamset application. http://www.dreamset-...r.com/index.php

I did a short search on google which gave me this information.

"SID not found in PAT"
May be caused by few things:-
Dish alignment!
LNB/feed horn out of position!
Channel providers has changed frequencies or make it into DATA channel!
Correction factor is not right,,,changed by providers to boost signals!
Temporary signal lost!

2) Some other providers support "fastscan" which does sort of the same, generate a bouquet for their channels, in the same order as on their own receivers.

 

For others you're on your own. Either find a ready-made list on the net, or construct your own, with one of the tools Frenske already mentioned.

Or do it yourself completely, nothing wrong with that

 

- do a full automatic scan of all connected satellite positions

- move all services to bouquets, this can be done from the remote control, but external tools exists too
