The NAS-Drive is mounted and it is green in network browser.The root folder of NAS can be choose in Enhanced Movie Center  ( media->autofs->), but it is empty.

The NAS works with my Laptop.

Check your mount options.

If it contains "sec=ntlm", remove that and try again. If it doesn't, you need to add it.

The default security settings in the kernel have changed, unfortunately some NAS devices use a very old kernel.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Isn't ntlmv2 the new default? My Synology works fine without specifying anything in the options.

I do not know, why I added here "sec=ntlmv2" , may be, when was oe3 with older autofs ?

At least it makes it clear what you are using. ;)

Perhaps we should change it so that when you define a cifs mount, you have to select the 'sec' value from a dropdown, so it's always in de xml. That way defaults are no longer a bother, you always override them with what the user selects.

I've send a patch long time ago that make sec=ntlm option available.

http://forums.openpl...nt/#entry468194

It's not a dropdownlist but a lest forces the sec to be visible on config..

Hmm.... Was under the impression that this was merged a long time ago.

@Erik Slagter,

could you have a look at this?

I was under the impression this was fixed a long time ago, either this way or another. I only know that the "fix" only works for new mounts, it doesn't change existing mounts.
