Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Hi
I have problem with Zgemma H9 multiboot installation. I get "Error unpacking rootfs" while instaling. To activate install I had to apply @Dimitrij fix for H7 and replace "h7" string with "h9". Anybody could help please?

That uses hardware multiboot, not openmultiboot plugin

Is there any way to use openmultiboot? Id like to choose between usb or flash. Not between internal flash partitions only.

Why does flashing to sd or usb have added value?...are 4 images not sufficiant?
vix has a plugin that can swap the stuff to sd card or usb....

For example to run 2 or more images with size grater then flash size (in H9 only 256MB).

I need to run one of images on usb. No more, no less.
Is it enough to extract rootfs.ubi to /media/usb/open-multiboot/image-name/ ? H9 is arm based device and it's OpenPLi release has UBIFS file system, so probably I need nandsim to extract it.

openmultiboot does not support any devices on hisilicon,including zgemma h9

But there exits a plugin that moves the multiboot stuff to SD or USB... (but I have no idea of that gives you more room)
