This is not how it should work. When you choose image you have started the last time, box should start without reboot (because it's not necessary to flash kernel).

Yes this is the usual way used in meoboot and OpenMultiboot . But  i was thinking to have explained that this is not possible with OpenGL drivers, look at post #116.

Indeed with this procedure the bootmenu of original OpenMultiBoot return an error and the bootmenu is not shown.

For this reason we are trying to explore alternatives.

These are only tests to try to find an alternative way to have bootmenu working in that images too.

Ah, ok. I thought I read that you already have fixed that.

The important part was the second part. And it was answer to dany. After selecting other image kernel gets flashed and box reboots and should not show boot menu. But in his case boot menu is shown. That's I think not correct (or better works not as designed). If this is caused because of your experiments everything is ok. I hope you find a way to get it working!

im sorry meo .. i think i was sleepy

-you are right ( After selecting other image and box reboots ,he doesnot show the bootmenu)

- your fixed files work very well with openatv too

- if you are using pli image in multiboot and restart the box ,, he will restart once with shwoing bootmenu ( the same meoboot) and i think this normal because you already explained that ,  ( all images have OpenGL drivers except pli image)

Hi, I didn't read this thread complete. It is possible to use the Kernel which is in every image, or do you use the Kernel from flash image?

All of you, the most multiboots that I know use one Kernel for all image in mips boxes. That's not a good solution i think.
Now I want to know, how this multiboot in this thread works, with one Kernel for all image, or with this Kernel inside in every image

Each image load own kernel and drivers. No mix.

Yes was a test and i agree that is not the solution.

The box is too much slow in the boot because reboot every time after bootmenu.

this is not acceptable.

You know the cause of the problem
the reason is .. when the box reaches to boot menu .. he reboots again instead of continue booting ,, that's why takes long time

In a perfect world all the images are perfect and do their work ... but this is not a perfect world :)

But i am searching for perfect solution.

Now all should work fine. The kernel is changed only if you change image. Otherwise the usual boot is done with usual speed and not double boot.

I have fixed the bootmenu font and width too.

Please test.

changes i can notice and for me quite positive:
-bootmenu on ALL images ;)
-bootmenu on not bootable images (like old backups etc) so you can choose another one to boot from B)
-optimized graphic of bootmenu with new font and tittle (version, author etc.)

I`m running OBH in flash, OPLi as a multiboot.

Question: while being booted to OPLi is there a way to mount flash (OBH) in order to explore the resources ?
