thx Persian Prince - in general it still seems to work normally. Only the bootmenu is no longer shown on display like probably intended for VU+. So we have to do some boxcheck to switch between old and new code about display. I'll look into these days.

Hello, I installed v.1.2a openmultiboot, but I wanted to know the path for the file .pot of the first post. I achieve to install images on multiboot but on boot when I select the image to boot, It doesn't work, and the box reboots and it stayed blocked on splash image. I would like to know if vu+ zero has some lack to get working multiboot. Thank you.

This was an experimental branch, do not use these plugins, they do not work.

OpenPLi doesn't support multiboot (and/or the other way around).
All these tools assume the images are identical, and only the enigma part is different. Which is not the case.
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.
Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.

But with Vu+Duo2 I have BH 2.1.7 on flash and running original OpenPli4 in multiboot ....
Zgemma H7S Openpli 6.0 R.C.
Zgemma H2.H OpenPli 6.0 R.C.
Zgemma H2 OpenPli 4

If you want a use multiboot, the best solutions is next combinations:
In the flash: Experimental image(lastest)
Install MultiMiniBoot plugin:mmboot-dreambox_1.40_all (See tutorial: http://mirmo-linux.l...mboot-eng.html)
After, you can install any image in your Dreambox, included OpenPLi.
Working perfect!!
All the best....

hi @Dimitrij or @arn354
openmultiboot works good in pli but one problem i have as following,
df -h says;
Filesystem Size Used Available Use% Mounted on ubi0:rootfs 14.7G 423.7M 13.5G 3% / devtmpfs 141.8M 4.0K 141.8M 0% /dev /dev/sdb1 14.7G 423.7M 13.5G 3% /omb devtmpfs 141.8M 4.0K 141.8M 0% /dev /dev/sdb1 14.7G 423.7M 13.5G 3% /omb ubi0:rootfs 103.8M 92.3M 11.5M 89% /usr/lib/enigma2/python/ Plugins/Extensions/OpenMultiboot
the usb stick with openmultiboot is /dev/sdb1, but it perceives ubi0:rootfs also as the same (same as /dev/sdb1 the openmultiboot stick).
this leads to a problem with backupsuite as following picture displays;
Screenshot-ProSieben5219.jpg 94.95KB 5 downloads
it says the backup is 429 mb big during the work, but when it's done a du -h /media/usb/et9x00 says;
104.0M /media/usb/et9x00
so it's only 104 mb big in reality.
this problem i have only with the et9000
and a backup only works in this case when @pedro_newbie remove the space check from his plugin backupsuite
with a mutant hd 2400 all works correct (here a df -h) says;
Filesystem Size Used Available Use% Mounted on devtmpfs 606.9M 4.0K 606.9M 0% /dev /dev/sda1 14.3G 751.9M 13.6G 5% /omb ubi0:rootfs 891.6M 110.4M 781.2M 12% /usr/lib/enigma2/python/ Plugins/Extensions/OpenMultiboot
here then /dev/sda1 is the usb stick with openmultiboot..

hi,
sorry, the problem exists also on other boxes as mutant hd 2400
it was my mistake because the mutant hd 2400 makes no problem to create a fullbackup with backupsuite
although it perceives the size of the image as 739 mb during process - this still works without problems since the mutant has a much bigger flash as the et9000.
