I still do not understand.I should move repo to github because others who cloned it use github?
Because everybody could read it easily, Contribute easily and for a better future
See how many people are moving to github
copy or clone a repo is easy and doesn't need github

When you use GitHub it's more possible to receive merge requests
For example I sent some merge requests to GitHub repos (OE-A, E2OpenPlugins, ...) because they're using GitHub and just for your information I don't use them directly but when I see a GitHub repo I know it's easy to contribute
Contribution is really important but when you don't use a proper git systems you won't receive merge requests or it will be less than GitHub trust me
PLi won't use GitHub (which I don't know why, maybe they don't care about contributions or maybe what they have now is enough) and sourceforge sucks (that's a fact) so I stopped sending merge requests to PLi's SF, believe me it's not just me and the worst part is they're doing this to themselves
I know this for sure that when somebody see your git and it's something rather than GitHub they probably won't bother to send you merge requests
Maybe I contribute to your project maybe not, I'm just trying to convince you to see the bright future now

Don't get me wrong here
PLi team is the best enigma2 team, It's a fact and all of us are using PLi's enigma2 so nobody could deny such a thing but I think they can't deny that they're using the worst git system among enigma2 teams also
PLi has the best C coders (maybe not best python coders) and the coding part is just great but the way that they're managing sources (sourceforge) is ... what should I say ?

PLi won't use GitHub ...
Who says that? Where did you get this wisdom from?
It is something being looked at, but not that simple to switch, since SourceForge also provides a lot of other services the we need to find a solution for when we move.
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.
Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.

Back to the topic...
A small test on XP1000 (the same as as Octagon SF8), PBNIGMA v. 5, updated today.
Streaming via IPTV Player (65.02.02.01), Internal player, no buffering > FilmOn > UK Live TV,
LOW BITRATE quick test:
-BBC 1, 2, ITV - all OK
HIGH BITRATE quick test:
-Channel 4, 5, ITV 2 - all OK
More l8r, when I get the time... And time is the issue here, possibly, since one would need to test it a bit longer, to see esp. high bitrate streaming at work...
But - it works, in this, relatively weak, single core mipsel processor (overclocked to 600MHz)...
I noticed that after a show the stream stops and one must restart it: is this by design?
Btw, the TV images below have been made at HIGH BITRATE (second test = OK!).
P.S. In Alien2 with last AR-P it also works, via ffmpeg. But more tests are needed.
Why? Like Ian, I had similar experiences. But I must update first and then...
========================EDIT======================
I just had a few stops out of the blue. It just stops...
Oh, all on fIbre optics, 30MB/sec

So, you decided to test playback with external eplayer3 based on ffmpeg?
I noticed that after a show the stream stops and one must restart it: is this by design?
When you use internal or system player such behavior depends on your Enigma2.
Is this behavior can be obserwed on Alien2 with external player?
