Hdmu always use the actually gst and ffm.
So gst 1.6.0 is inside.

@santa

The new version of gst 1.6.0 for SH4 STB with small amount of RAM it's a bad idea,

Also please read what I wrote. I speak about external gst player for gstreamer 1.X not about gstreamer 1.X in itself.

@zeetro

If HDMU use last version of ffmpeg please give the output of folowing command:

ffmpeg --version

Hdmu builds only mix Images, ffm and gst inside.
If you want to use ffm, you only have to use id 4099

Correct commands:

cd /tmp
wget http://iptvplayer.pl/resources/openatv5_sh4_ffmpeg_2.7.1.tar.gz
tar -C / -xvf openatv5_sh4_ffmpeg_2.7.1.tar.gz
rm openatv5_sh4_ffmpeg_2.7.1.tar.gz
sync
reboot
Good evening guys,
Honestly i'm so bad with the telnet commands
so just to be clear, i need to write all this commands at once
or write every line separately ? :blink:

Dear friend,

We are not speaking about internal players but about external players gstplayer and exteplayer3.

Have you ever seen them?

Unfortunately external gstplayer based on SH4 for gstreamer 1.X is not available.

Hoever you can still use exteplayer3 but you need to install ffmpeg libs.

cd /tmp
wget http://iptvplayer.pl/openatv5_sh4_ffmpeg_2.7.1.tar.gz
tar -C / -xvf ffmpeg_2.7.1.tar.gz
rm ffmpeg_2.7.1.tar.g
sync
reboot

After reboot plugin should ask you to install exteplayer3.

Let me know if it works  :)

I think that version 81.00.00.00 is buggy as any click on trickplay button leads to buffering (sh4 box STI7162).

Hello hyperonex,

If you think that this problem has been introduced with 81.00.00.00 you can downgrade version and check.

To do this you should simple enable this posibility in configuration menu.

Please check and let me know.
