I want to stream my desktop to my receiver and I want to ask whether the udp (udp://receiver_ip:port/desktop.ts) protocol is supported to stream mpegts file to IPTV player (the link is added within an m3u file in the local HDD) ???

@doubledip

Yes I also saw this discontinuity at the stream start. But the reason is unknown for me. Before there was the problem with merging list and the same chunks/segments were downloaded many times.
But this was fixed. It seems that first chunk from first list is broken, so in version I will skip first chunk from first hls list for http://live-stream.tv/.

Please test version "98.02.06.00"
Please also check exteplayer3 without buffering it should works now.

Regards,
SSS

Both Ext Eplayer3 with and without buffering work for http://live-stream.tv/ . :D

Tested with version version "98.02.06.00".

Thank You

Fan, I'll ask an obvious question, don't get mad at me, please.... :D

Ddid you install ffmpeg before installing the IPTV Player (there are 2 versions of ffmpeg, for our nefarious purposes: SH4 and mipsel)? If during the installation IPTV Player detects ffmpeg as present/installed, then it will offer you the installation of eplayer3.

Then, you'll see it... ;)

Hello,

RTP is also not supported but support for RTP can be added.

Supported protocol:

def decorateUrl(url, metaParams={}):
    retUrl = strwithmeta( url )
    retUrl.meta.update(metaParams)
    urlLower = url.lower()
    if 'iptv_proto' not in retUrl.meta:
        if urlLower.startswith('merge://'):
            retUrl.meta['iptv_proto'] = 'merge'
        elif urlLower.split('?')[0].endswith('.m3u8'):
            retUrl.meta['iptv_proto'] = 'm3u8'
        elif urlLower.split('?')[0].endswith('.f4m'):
            retUrl.meta['iptv_proto'] = 'f4m'
        elif urlLower.startswith('rtmp'):
            retUrl.meta['iptv_proto'] = 'rtmp'
        elif urlLower.startswith('https'):
            retUrl.meta['iptv_proto'] = 'https'
        elif urlLower.startswith('http'):
            retUrl.meta['iptv_proto'] = 'http'
        elif urlLower.startswith('file'):
            retUrl.meta['iptv_proto'] = 'file'
        elif urlLower.startswith('rtsp'):
            retUrl.meta['iptv_proto'] = 'rtsp'
        elif urlLower.startswith('mms'):
            retUrl.meta['iptv_proto'] = 'mms'
        elif urlLower.startswith('mmsh'):
            retUrl.meta['iptv_proto'] = 'mmsh'
        elif 'protocol=hls' in url.lower():
            retUrl.meta['iptv_proto'] = 'm3u8'
    return retUrl

In version "98.03.00.00":

- http://www.live-stream.tv/ has been added to the webstream host

Works correctly only with external movie player.

Off topic:

If I keep standards of some members of OpenPLI, I should not answer and help German users.

You, can probably find a post where OpenPLI member offends me because of my Polish nationality.

Extremely sad. You have to completely do not know history to have the nerve to do so.

PM's, SSS - not PW!

Btw, one member - who may or may not be a German -  means that all Germans are the same and so because of him none deserve any kind words from you??

Sheeshhh... even if he verbally abused all Poles - do you really have to stoop so low and be the same as him, even though you obviously are disgusted by such alleged generalisations?

Honestly....
