Gentlemen, can we keep things decent here, and fight any fight that needs fighting via PM?

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

And let's go on topic again. ;)

Hello @zeetro

IPTVPlayer use default E2 component called VirtualKeyboard.

You must have arabic VirtualKeyboard E2 component in your E2 image.

Regards,

SSS

You can not use TSmedia virtualkeyboard because it is customized for TSmedia and depends on other files only available in TSmedia

but  you can extract .../Screen/virtualkeyboard.py from TSimage and should include arabic language and put it in same location in your image.

I couldn't extract virtualkeyboard.py from the TSimage ,so i tried to extract it from Pkteam
then i put it in this directory usr/lib/enigma2/python/screens

and it worked. now i have the Arabic language  :D

Thank you so much Mahmoud@mfaraj57 and to you @samsamsam for your replays

Good

The plugin is crashing when trying to open the message box. Someone has raised an issue on Gitlab. Changing line 232 of iptvsetupimpl.py to this cures the messagebox crash. (Messagebox was referenced twice)

self.showMessage(_("OpenSSL in your image is not supported.\nSome functions may not work correctly."), MessageBox.TYPE_WARNING, self.getGstreamerVer )

Fixed in version 117.01.01.00.

Thanks for the report. Update can be done from IPTVPlayer config by opening config from system menu.

Not from IPTVPlayer.

Regards, SSS
