IPTV Player - development thread

I had to move to OpenPLi from another image, then install your ipk.
The f4mdump failed due the installation. I skipped the process to complete.
Everything seems to work.
Upgrades run smoothly.
Then the question appears.
Why the popup doesn't appear about that missing package anymore please?
Does it mean, due the upgrade, f4mdump installs in the background ?

Hello @marekjs,
Are you sure that f4mdump failed?
What exactly was the message?
I think you have the message "Your version is deprecated...".
deprecated != failed
To save space on server only newest version of binary compounds are stored.
The old version of the IPTVPlayer which you install do not know about new version of f4mdump taken from a server, due to this it complayin about "deprecated version".
Then you update IPTVPlayer and new version not complain because know that this version of f4mdump is newest one.
Please carefully read future messages.

SSS

Hello,
I've installed IPTV Player yesterday to check it out and have to say - great work, very professional! Sadly I couldn't find much content for my interests (I'm mainly interested in sports), so would like to ask, if you would mind to add spox.com (http://www.spox.com/de/index.html), for instance.

I can reproduce the error. I take the first stream from a scheduled event, it runs for 5 minutes and than stops with error. Than i start the second stream and it shows the same behaivior. Error after 5 minutes. I can start the first stream again with no problems but after a few minutes it stops again with error.
I have to say my ET4000 has an old Openpli from 11.2014, but i will also check tomorrow on an ET7000 with a newer image.
Basicly every stream i start from sport365 stops after 5 minutes.

It seems that the problem occurs only in buffering mode and should be fixed in version "124.02.05.00".
