I compared it with another box and installed all missing python packages on the Pure, no result yet. So we keep on searching..

compared and installed all missing packages in the pure. so it looks identical tot other receivers.

But still the opensubtitles do not work on the Xsarius Pure

Also subscne.com subtitles are not working on the Xsarius Pure

Please any other suggestions ?

Since these 2 only have dutch subtitles, I cannot use the other one (they work fine but have no dutch subtitles).

@Montezuma

This is not related with subtitles but with update.

I do not know from were you get and install this plugin but you do not have the official version.

You have some additional files in IPTVPlayer\iptvupdate\custom.

I will suggest you to remove it or better remove whole plugin and install official version.

SSS

Well... something strange happens.

With the newest version 131.00.10.00 suddenly this problem is gone... so nothing to log

So I guess you already fixed it ? Thanks !

Thank you for your Answer, this version i get from a other forum, because my box with OpenPli doesn't get the new versions of IPTVPLAYER, and i do installation with older versions and leater do all the updates.

Now i reflash the box from the begin and i will try to install via telnet from here --- https://gitlab.com/i...layer-for-e2---

I have used this:

http://wiki.openpli.org/iptvplayer

Can confirm the latest version 131.00.100 doesn't have the subtitle problem anymore.

Did you do this ???

opkg update && opkg install python-html
opkg update && opkg install python-textutils
rm -rf /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/IPTVPlayer
cd /tmp
wget http://iptvplayer.vl...ythonX.X.tar.gz
tar -xzf latest.pythonX.X.tar.gz -C /tmp
rm latest.pythonX.X.tar.gz
cp -r iptvplayer-for-e2.git/IPTVPlayer /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/IPTVPlayer
rm -rf iptvplayer-for-e2.git/IPTVPlayer

I did have this problem too in previous builds. But now all is OK

I did some more testing, the trick seems to be in what order you install everything. The wiki tells first to install ffmpeg and then iptvplayer. When you do it like this you get the subtitle error. But when you first install the iptvplayer and without a reboot directly install ffmpeg, the subtitle problem is gone on a Xsarius Pure. So you can try if this is also the solution for the VU+ Zero.

This is what I did exactly in this order:

- fresh installation of latest openpli

- then by tellnet:

opkg update && opkg install python-html

opkg update && opkg install python-textutils
rm -rf /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/IPTVPlayer
cd /tmp
wget http://iptvplayer.vl...ythonX.X.tar.gz
tar -xzf latest.pythonX.X.tar.gz -C /tmp
rm latest.pythonX.X.tar.gz
cp -r iptvplayer-for-e2.git/IPTVPlayer /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/IPTVPlayer
rm -rf iptvplayer-for-e2.git/IPTVPlayer
wget http://iptvplayer.pl...psel_fpu.tar.gz
tar -xzf ffmpeg2.8.5_mipsel_fpu.tar.gz -C /
rm ffmpeg2.8.5_mipsel_fpu.tar.gz
sync
reboot

When I install in this order, the subtitles are working fine on a Xsarius Pure.

OK, Everything is OK, with a reboot everything is OK.

My Thanks to SSS and to You Dimmi , for your help.

Thank You.

No, it's not! It's SSS's instructions, basically.

Did your rec have ffmpeg before you installed anything or not?
