Dear Samsamsam,

I have problems when trying to read my own st link. The link is usually broken after 20 sec.

Moreove, I wonder how to read a m3u file directly using your plugin. This will not resolve the problem of ts link reading but can help saving time in the future since several used ts links are extracted from m3u file. This is time wasting essentially for peoples trying several chared iptv links, which is my case .

I am a beginner in this field so any kind of help is welcome.

Thank you in advance

Hello,

M3U can be open via host LocalMedia.
In the host LocalMedia M3U is shown as directory.
If you want to use link to m3u list then you should create something I call link to m3u list.
Create text file with extension m3u. In the first line in this file put url to m3u list for example:

You can try to fix your ts playing link using this:

Dear Samsamsam,

I tried resolving the ts problem following your advices. First I've updated the fmmpeg libs without adding the |MPEGTS-Live=1 to the ts files . The result is the same: dozens of links from different servers are stopped after 30sec.

Then I added the |MPEGTS-Live=1. The result is then a frozen image without the 30 sec time connection. It seems that the problem does not come from your plugin because I have obtained the same behavior after adding my links directly to my favorite enigma2 channels and running them as usual channels.

Is there a way to check which player the box is actually using?

I have a feeling the TSmedia pluging I have installed few days ago has changed some configuration in my STB. The receiver software could be corrupted unintentionally by the TS media plugin.

Hello,

Active movie player you can set under blue button.

When you play stream you also can see the gstreamer or ffmpeg logo on left corner info baner.

ffmpegg_logo.jpg

When you want to use workaround |MPEGTS-Live=1 workaround  works with ffmpeg version 3.0 or higher.

|MPEGTS-Live=1 i is workaround for such streams.

Hello,

Generally exteplayer3 (based on ffmpeg) should be able to handle HLS with AES encryption.

The best way will be to check with last version of ffmpeg.

Without url to stream I can not check anything more.

Dear Samsamsam,

When installing iptvplayer for the first time, the plugin asks me to install some libraries. However after accepting the installation of a library, the plugin continues asking me  installing it again and again. It behaves like it isn't aware of what is actually installed or what it has installed itself. Are you aware of this bug?

I report you another bug I have seen on a site before: the Gstream library the plugin is asking to install are already installed on openatv images. I have tested this fact myself on my ET8500. The plugin asks for installing an older version of Gstream indeed.

The last bug I have encoutoured is a refusal of the upgrade operation because it doesn't like the plugin configuration. In fact I didn't touch any thing in the initial configuration the plugin has set itself.

I report also this problem: http://www.techkings...yer-plugin.html

The plugin doesn't accept an updated gstreamer. Is this true?

I will install iptv player on a fresh openatv image and I will list to you the libraries it is repeateadly asking me to install. Before I go through such new adventure could you please confirm to me that installing a downgraded gstreamer by the plugin is with no risk to the image. In other word I wish to know if the rest of programs will continue using the upgraded gstreamer that comes with the fresh image.

On the other hand, what if I respond by no to the gsteamer installation request. Does the plugin continue to work normally with the already installed gstreamer or no?

Dear Samsamsam,

I managed to get the last version of iptvplayer. Following are binaries the plugin doesn't detect:

- wget (fullwget recommended): installation Ok

-rtmpdump : installation Ok

-uchartdet: installation Ok

-libstdc++: installation problem, the plugin asks to install it again and again. After 3 reinstallations I finished by asking it to not install libstdc++. Strange to find such a bug on the last version of the plugin. libstdc++ is what I called library in my last comment.

-C subtitle parser: installation Ok

-f4mdump: installation Ok

-gstplayer: installation Ok

-GST for GSTREAMER1.X: I think the 1.X was 1.0 in old iptvplayer plugin and this is the second bug I have reported. So my apologizes since what the plugin is asking for is GST and not the GSTREAMER itself.

You really not read carefully messages.

IPTVPlayer does not install libstdc++. IPTVPlayer can install some component with static linked stdc++ but not libstdc++ at all.

The better will be simle quote here messages from IPTVPlayer.

To check what is the problem please enable debugs to /hdd/iptv.dbg in IPTVPlayer configuration (go to the end of options list).

Then reproduce the problem and provide logs.
