You really not read carefully messages.

IPTVPlayer does not install libstdc++. IPTVPlayer can install some component with static linked stdc++ but not libstdc++ at all.

The better will be simle quote here messages from IPTVPlayer.

To check what is the problem please enable debugs to /hdd/iptv.dbg in IPTVPlayer configuration (go to the end of options list).

Then reproduce the problem and provide logs.

SSS

Dear Samsamsam,

I am sure it is the  libstdc++ under the bin folder I think.

Following is the status of the plugin installation after flashing the STB with the last Openpli image, installing the ffmpeg 3.0 and installing the last iptv player.

- The plugin is not not the extension menu. After opkg update && opkg install python-html, the plugin has finally appeared. The novetly is that it is not asking the installation of  libstdc++ at all. So evrything seems to be Ok now. The only new thing I have done is the update && opkg install python-html command. The problem could come from there.

Hello,

You are sure but you are not right.

IPTVPlayer does not install libstdc++. So, once again READ careful messages!

And you still not provide logs, you prefer to speculate a nonsense  instead.

Please provide logs and read messages careful.

uchardet_static_libstdc++

is not libstdc++.

Understand?

IPTVPlayer never install libstdc++.

Source code is open, so you can check by yourself.

Since the problem is resolved now, all I can do now is to repeat the old operations. I will do it as soon as I have time and I will come to you. The update && opkg install python-html command seems to have resolved the problem definitly by updating this lib, I guess.

@samsamsam

Thank you, I could get it installed.

The only problem was the installation of "uchardet". I selected the option : Install in "/usr/bin/uchardet static libcstdc++ (recommended)" and it kept repeating this installation step.

I had to choose not to install uchardet to be able to complete installation. But actually if I take a look the uchardet file is available already in /usr/bin, probably was installed by one of the previous installation steps. Maybe your installation routine could check if uchardet already available.

Please enable debug to /hdd/iptv.dbg in  the IPTVPlayer configuration (go to the end of options list).

Then reboot your STB, reproduce the problem and provide logs.

There will be no such message if uchardet will work correctly.

So, maybe you see binary but it is not working.

This is strange question.

exteplayer3 has open source so if you need you can re-compile with new ffmpeg.

I think you are asking if IPTVPlayer have precompiled version of exteplayer3 for ffmpeg 3.2.

No it does not have.

I am testing IPTV Player on DM520HD with OpenPli image (not official).

When trying to play a movie I get Information screen (white (i) in blue circle) and "H.264 decoder". The audio plays but no video.

Do I need to install some other addons?

@Moonwalker

At first which movie?

Please install ffmpeg and try play it using exteplayer3 movie player.

You can choose active movie player under blue button. exteplayer3 need ffmpeg libs.

About documentary will check whats available on Kodi and let you know.

I have a problem playing VOD movies from IPTV (XC plugin) probably related to same issue I had on IPTV player. How can I force all movies to play using extplayer3?
