Even when I use extplayer 3 with buffer

E2 spinner keeps appearing during the buffering phase, and then when the channel start playing...

Strange, I can not reproduce such problem.
Without buffering you also have such problem?

What STB do you have? What storage?

I use dm800 , HDD 250GB, Problem occur only with LIVE  BBC channels , not with any other live iptv addons..

Just tested it without buffer.. it is fine , No E2 spinner appear.

Those who are familiar with Xunity talk , Mikey 1234  has made a BBC IPlayer kodi addon , and people that are out of UK and geo-blocked  , use some free proxies like "http://www.englandproxy.co.uk " and it works like a charm with LIMELIGHT links .Thought maybe it could help you samsamsam  in developing the bbc host for your plugin

DM800 has CPU without FPU and then HTTPS there could be problem with CPU overload by wget.

I do not think that web proxy can be used for HLS, DASH links.

with LIMELIGHT links

What it is?

I don't know really , all I know is I can watch VOD  of the BBC iplayer using that addon ,  but not live TV
LIimelight is  a link supplier , when you click a tv show episode for example ( after disabling the autoplay in the settings ) ,  different links are provided from different sources  , among them Akamai (wich strangely  ceased to work 3 days ago ) , Limelight ( still works if u use the one with BBCMEDIA ON THEM ) and HLS that I  never tried

Maybe, rtmp links or mp4 are working (I will check this).
But such formats of  links are deprecated. And they probably remove these sources someday.

Any way I will check if such links will be work with web proxy workaround and if yes, I will add this as an option.
Maybe at the next weekend... We will see.

Like any catch up services , links are removed after a certain amount of time , to save storage probably

As always , thanks so much for the amount of effort you put , keeping all the hosts up to date .

I am not talking about this.

I am saying that rtmp links are deprecated and someday they stop to provide them.
