Even if you install wrong version nothing bad will happen.

You always can remove it, this is only one binary.

You not answered to my questions. It is very hard to cooperate with you.

First you wrote

but still a lot of freezing when playing BBC 1

now

The freeze occur once Buffering finishes and start playing

This is one long freeze at the beginning of star player or "a lot of freezing" during playback?

What storage do you use hard disk or pendrive? Because maybe it has no enough bandwidth to handle both writing and reading at the same time.
A lot of freezing ( like slow motion) occur from beginning of playback and during playback.. I use 250gb hdd.. Sorry if I am not clear..

 Thank You SSS

As usual the stuff that you create and compile is very useful indeed.

This will have many practical uses and I'm sure will be a great tool for use with HLS streams and enigma2 plugins.

Ian.

Hard to say where is the bottleneck with your STB.
DM800 is very slow STB, so when we use two processes, one for downloading data and second to read and process, maybe there is no enough  CPU power or memory bandwidth  or USB controller.
Hard to say without such STB.
Maybe there is possible to make some optimization but without diagnosis were is bottleneck it is not possible.

SSS

You what to make link change during playback?

No it is not possible. IPTVPlayer was not designed for such functionality.

If you what to play diffrent item from list you need first stop current playback.

@SSS

My observations

Playing BBC One (old HLS/M3U8 downloader) Exteplayer3 with Buffering

- Spinners while buffering

- Video playback: spinner appears for 2 seconds in intervalls of 4 seconds without spinner, nevertheless video and audio play fine with lowest resolution, gets worse with highest resolution (stutter)

- reacation to buttons takes 2-3 seconds

top command output

BBC One bitrate: 1012300 res: 704x396
Mem: 231856K used, 2964K free, 0K shrd, 3K buff, 4K cached
CPU: 73% usr 6% sys 2% nic 6% idle 0% io 0% irq 11% sirq
Load average: 1.14 1.08 0.77 3/78 13220

BBC One bitrate: 5509880 res: 1280x720
Mem: 225676K used, 9144K free, 0K shrd, 3K buff, 4K cached
CPU: 51% usr 12% sys 8% nic 0% idle 0% io 0% irq 27% sirq
Load average: 2.19 1.38 0.94 3/78 13875

Playing BBC One (new HLS/M3U8 downloader) Exteplayer3 with Buffering

- No spinners while buffering

- No spinners while Video playback with lowest and highest resolution

- reacation to buttons immediately

top command output

BBC One bitrate: 1012300 res: 704x396
Mem: 189736K used, 45084K free, 0K shrd, 3K buff, 4K cached
CPU: 3% usr 6% sys 18% nic 61% idle 0% io 0% irq 10% sirq
Load average: 0.17 0.51 0.70 1/79 18892

BBC One bitrate: 5509880 res: 1280x720
Mem: 216684K used, 18136K free, 0K shrd, 3K buff, 4K cached

BRAVO, SSS!!! You did it again!!! Outstanding!

Thanx DD for testing!

How cool is that, to see old machines getting better (i.e. "stronger") and people who do not have the money getting the same as the rest of us who are more fortunate!!! :)

SSS, can you see this, please: https://wiki.openpli.org/iptvplayer

Are there now changes to be made, please? In terms of new ffmpeg packages, for different machines, with various SSLs etc.? Should I add or change or even delete some of those?

I will try to keep it updated but I need your help to keep it up to date, of course...

Thanx!

@frank087234

I have written several times about such sites.

I am not familiar with Arabic language, so time to add site with completely unknown language take much more time.

So, no I not plan to do this.

Add some service take time, but also there is need manny time for support host, fix problems when owners change something on site and so on.

But,  IPTV Player is Open Source plugin, so you can find different programmer (maybe from your country?) who will add this service to IPTVPlayer.

Here you have source code:

SSS, please check the operation of some resources tree.tv.
In the films of the categories "Date added" error is displayed:
"Server sent bad data. code:9"
For example,
Movie -> Any -> Any -> Year: Any -> Any -> Date added -> Captive
In iternete browser resource is available:
http://tree.tv/film/22184-plennik

The log file is attached. I noticed that not work httр://st4.3tv.im resources ... while httр://st1.3tv.im ..., httр://st2.3tv.im ..., httр: //st3.3tv.im ... work well.

Thanks in advance.
