for example, bbc 1 live, does not work when using extplayer3 without buffering.. info bar appears for a second then goes back to channel list..

it works fine with extplayet 3 with buffering, and with gstplayer without buffering..

thanks

So, I understand you have problem with HLS links.

Please try to play this link in console:

exteplayer3 "https://bitdash-a.akamaihd.net/content/sintel/hls/video/250kbit.m3u8"

And provide output.

Whe question is also what ffmpeg libs are you have in this image?

Please provide output of command:

 ffmpeg -version

I was asked you to execute this command:

exteplayer3 "https://bitdash-a.akamaihd.net/content/sintel/hls/video/250kbit.m3u8"

and provide output.

Why you not provide it?

It looks like ffmpeg can not found playable tracks.

It could be coused because of to short analize time or because of using not valid for image ffmpeg libs.

The best is when ffmpeg libs are compiled with the same toolchain and compilation options as all others image components.

You use this image on DM800 without FPU the question is how this image was build. With soft float in standard library or with hard float emulation in kernel.

Because you use ffmpeg libs which require hard float support.

I will suggest you to ask image developers to recompile ffmpeg libs with the same toolchain and compilation option as they use for image compilation.

I saw similar problems on  Xpeed LX1 also with image which was compiled with soft float in standard library.

I think maybe the problem because I installed ffmpeg compiled for OE1.6 image, not OE2.0, because it was the only ffmpeg accepted by the image with openssl0.9. 8

I think something similar:

Colud you also make channel change button creating for m3u list? Next channel and previous channel button.

Thank you very match

Hello,

These links use Flash Video codec (FLV1) - Sorenson Spark.

Your hardware and DVB drivers must support this codec.

If you will have support in your DVB drivers then there will be need to add writter for this codec also to exteplayer3.
