@SSS

i would like to translate the missing parts in IPTV Player into german. I have the german IPTVPlayer.po from gitlab and would like to edit it in Poedit. The polish file has many more entries. How to update the german file. Do you have a .pot file?

@doubledip

On gitlab there are both files:

https://gitlab.com/i.../de/LC_MESSAGES

https://gitlab.com/i...S/IPTVPlayer.po

The best one is RU file. So, you should use this one to get text in english.

I plan to update Polish translation as Polish is my language, but at now RU is better translated.

SSS

OK. They have problems with database.

Now filmovita.com works and I was able to fix it also in the IPTVPlayer.

In version "131.03.08.00":

http://filmovita.com/ has been fixed

Ab fab! :)

Attention!

I get info that person "DAREK WKRETARKA" from Ireland. Sells STBs with modified IPTVPlayer version.
This modification involves remove UPDATE functionality.

Due, to this users are not able to make update when some service stop working.

The only reason why he make such modification is to take money from users when he manually update plugin.

Please propagate this info. Do not let  to deceive others and yourself.

Thank you,

SSS

And this is truly disgusting (choosing my words carefully here!)!

For me it is not working.

For example I open the website:

https://edem.tv/category/list/news

It is not possible to click on any channel and watch.

I am not talking about list generation but about direct watch on website.

I took the ru file and almost finished the translation in Poedit. Uploaded the IPTVPlayer.po and IPTVPlayer.mo files to ...\de\LC_MESSAGES on my stb for testing and did a restart. Unfortunately only a few phrases changed to german, but there are many more translated in the IPTVPlayer.po file.

Example:

msgid "Save changes?"
msgstr "Änderungen speichern?"

IPTV Player still asks me "Save changes?" in english.

What can I do?

I can confirm problem with translation of "Save changes?" in config menu. This will be fixed.

But, this only one item. Please provide location all untranslatable messages.

Ok i will collect the untranslatable messages.

Here two more:

Use subtitles parser extension if available - in IPTV Settings
Reverse a playlist - menu point under blue button when you see a playlist

Have questions regarding the meaning of some menu entrys. Without knowledge about the functionality its hard to translate.

What does "Disable live at plugin start" in IPTV Settings do?

menu point "Buffer path" belongs to "[RTMP] buffering (rtmpdump required)" or is it some kind of global Buffer path?

@benko

DID YOU CHECK ON WEBSITE IF IT IS WORKING?

For example:

http://www.filmovita...innocents-2016/

Because it is not working. I have message "Forbidden".

YOU SHOULD ALWAY FIRST CHECK ON WEBSITE ON PC!

I wrote it so many times.

Both messages:

"Reverse a playlist" and "Use subtitles parser extension if available" can be translated and translation works. So, I do not know what is your problem?

"Buffer path"  is similar to "Records path" it is not only for RTMP buffering. I really do not know why you connect Buffer path only with RTMP, there are also "[HTTP] buffering", "[HLS/M3U8] buffering", so why you connect buffering only with RTMP?
