OpenPLi does not support clone boxes.

Hi my sister own the XP1000 Openpli 4 with kernel 3.12
And she want to make the reciever combo and she buy this stick...
Technaxx dvb-t S4 for 20 euro and the reciever does not recognized
I tell her to download the driver (via the phone) from the plugins but when the box installing it
a message appear and telling something about a kernel module etc
Any ideas?

Looks like the kernel config is missing "CONFIG_DVB_USB_IT913X" and "CONFIG_DVB_IT913X_FE", needed to build this package.
So it is not available for the XP1000, unless the manufacturer updates the BSP.
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Its pretty weird because I own this stick since 2013 and it was working with my reciever few years ago (i own VU solo 2) and its not working with my sisters XP1000
Maybe I have to found a usb stick with a support driver.

Can I use the main tuner of this reciever to scan channels for DVB - T ???
And if I can how i do it?
When i setup a tuner its asking to choose a sattelite.
How can I make it to scan only for Terrestrial?

A DVB-S(2) tuner is not able to receive Terrestrial signal you need a DVB-T capable tuner to scan it.

It is not that weird. Whether or not a kernel driver is build depends on the kernel config. The manufacturer determines the kernel config in its BSP. VU+ has enabled it on all boxes, for the XP1000 (and many others) it is not. So MaxDigital has to modify their BSP to make this work.
