Even FM-Radio, AnalogTV are supported on Enigma with Sundtek MediaTV Pro ???

FM and AnalogTV are currently not supported by Enigma2.

However we're adding support for this to XBMC / Kodi.

It's not a matter of driversupport but of the video output interface of the settopbox, we cannot dump the frames to the video processor.

Today arrived my ordered Sundtek USB sticks, they works well. Brasvo !!! I can try with Vu+Zero within few weeks, because I gave the box to my parents. With dreambox I have no problems! Thank you for a good product. Estonian main TV program ETV is allowed from September broadcast true Full HD (DVB-C and DVB-T2). This channel is currently upconverted to 1920x1080. We hope the best.

<zeros> Hi good evening
<zeros> I have a problem with the Sundtek stick and Vu+zero
<zeros> All works the DVB-T but the sound is bad
<zeros> It would be accurate to say sound is poor, slightly choppy
<zeros> I have on Vu+zero last openPLi. Whether there is something to do?
<zeros> Obviously, this is a problem with the drivers
<zeros> Updated the Latest sundtek driver version: Build date: 2015-10-10 16:24:11
<zeros> It says on installation, that checking system... VU+ Solo detected
<zeros> Do I have to make sense to try older versions from here? http://www.sundtek.de/media/
<zeros> I just tried it just in case enigma2-plugin-extensions-sundtekcontrolcenter_1.3.3-20121028-r1_all.ipk 83.55 kb
<zeros> Not going, very very poor sound on DVB-T and DVB-T2
<zeros> sound is poor and that is the point with Vu+Zero and Sundtek
<zeros> I do not know where to turn to, whether the PLi or here!?
<zeros> I'm going to put my concern as well to the PLi Forum

contact us via chat again if possible. We recorded some sample files from some other users but are not able to reproduce this with our VU+ Duo2 nor VU+ Duo. Audio is 100% clean and there are absolutely no issues here.

Several devices also from other manufacturers are affected by the change VU+ introduced (we guess they lowered the buffer size and we have already done some work to improve this for some customers.. however it's very difficult for us since it is not reproducible as mentioned).

The first test was lowering the buffer size which improved the situation. The latest changes are not live yet because we have another bigger driver update pending (we're adding some new stuff)

Very good, I do not have any problems with the same stick and several other boxes. No problems with Dreambox DM7020HD and Relook MAGO. I very much hope that you can also fix it for Vu + zero. Like I said, the only problem with the sound, and this is a problem as well with another Wand TV DVB-T stick, if I tried it with openATV. I hope for the best! If it succeeds, then this is the only one that works.

Yes, the virtual tuner interface of VU+ is (currently) more or less broken, audio is choppy. There is nothing Sundtek can do about that.

Thanks Erik!
But maybe that will improve the situation?:

I tried as well with Black Hole software (Wand TV DVB-T stick + Vu+Zero) and it works OK. My goal is to get it working with Vu+zero and PLi.

I tried "everything" and nothing helped. IIRC I already filed a bug report with VU+. It may help if you do as well.

I sent the PM with sample recording to Sundtek and I'm ready for testing.
Let's try changing the buffer size, if I can get to try the modified Sundtek software. I'm ready to report the results and I took the Vu+ Zero from parents with me to contribute with it.

Just for info, that inside that recording was all OK. I listened the recording over with my computer and everything was fine. This means the problems are with audio playback during the broadcast. Probably the codec or buffer?

Hi, just for info, that old drivers works well!

How to test:

overwrite the new drivers in folder

/lib/modules/3.13.5/extra

with added old drivers.

I´m going to use it, until the solution is missing and all OK

I can confirm that with Vu+ old drivers also work the other sticks (my WAND TV). And Sundtek deals with the Vu + new drivers fixing also (the Sundtek side). I hope that this will succeed:-)
