I just read about it on a blog describing the procedure and it says:

drhans.tv/?q=node/97

Unfortunately the PID carrying the EPG is not passed through. Also, decoding of remote PowerVu streams does not work (in case you'd like to stream encrypted PowerVu stream from another device and have it decoded on a Dreambox).

Yes "real" Dreambox owner cannot use the method to decode, but it works on Xtrend and I think VU+ too :-)

It seems that recording works on openatv image.

I cannot personally confirm it but I got a report claiming that it does.

I just tested with 'Descramble http streams' - 'No' and recording works. I guess oscam doesn't realise the stream has already been decrypted by OSEmu and tries to decrypt it for the second time.

I'd rather suspect the "scrambling" metadata bits in the transport stream header is wrong then.
