Hi MastaG,

thank you that I test your Images provided with GStreamer 1:51
allowed me was a delight.

Even if you now no longer build images to the public, I would be happy to cooperate when there is a new GStreamer (1.60) like your Images.
test. (Would you then via PN letter)

Thank you again for your great work !!!

At what point is it from PLI team of officials to be expected
Images with 1.5x GStreamer ???

Greeting Akki

As far I understood there are still unstable factors in the gstreamer >1.0 stuff.... And for me personally I really lost of track which commits ate required to get a correct build and feed....

Thanks for uploading the test builds.

It seems like requirements are higher compared to the old gstreamer.

On my old dm800se i'm having issues playing 1080p streams on twitch which work flawless with old gstreamer. Tested through a livestreamer proxy and MediaPortal hls-player.

Also my box feels sluggish especially in the first few seconds of streaming.

Maybe its just too weak.

Here's a Dreambox DM8000 build from a clean checkout from gst-1.

Only modification was switching the gst-plugin-dreambox-dvbmediasink with gstreamer1.0-plugin-dvbmediasink.

Also removed the gstreamer 0.10 dts downmix plugin.

gues You mean :

gstreamer1.0-plugin-multibox-dvbmediasink ?

gues You mean that in dreambox.inc ?

regarding my 2nd issue (AAC silent) just remembered, when it was working, the AAC track was selected as default, so the issue seems to be when swithing from AC3 to AAC track.

BTW, would it be possible to implement language preference for media playback?

Is this Patch included in used mediasink?

I fixed the problem long time ago. Or it's a new bug.

I would prefer someone to update GStreamer to 1.5.90 and see if errors are still there... Because soon we are going to have 1.6 stable version, at least to catch the merge window..

Alright athoik.. if you have the time to post a patch which will bump the recipes to 1.5.90 then I'll post new clean images without the added extras.

Hi. I check how the channels with the live broadcast of the plugin Youtube Player ver. 20150823 (developer Taapat). DM8000 HD.
1. Original inage OpenPli 4.0 2015.08.25 - when you try to open a link to the live broadcast takes place buffering up to 97%. Play does not start. after a few seconds back on the list of references.
2. Your image DM5 502f82210bdcfcf310f0130efad7c23f -
link to the live broadcast open and play consistently. The sound and video are synchronized. The broadcast really corresponds to the actual time. All is well.
3. Your image DM5 4378cf081cb1168613de8695d6644bab - link to the live broadcast open and play consistently. The sound and video are synchronized. But the broadcast stream is delayed in time is 4 hours of real time.

thats because the original OpenPLi I created for Erik Slagter does not feature christophecvr's multibox dvbmediasink.

also I didn't apply any of the other patches.

Please bump GStreamer developers to add the patch that fixes youtube. Still is not included in 1.5.90

https://bugzilla.gno...g.cgi?id=753344

We can have it include before 1.6 tagged, the merge window is still open.

Hello

@MastaG

I do a new test with original image (OpenPLi-4.0-beta-et10000-20150827_usb.zip) on my Xtrend ET10000

I have just install the ipk: gst-plugins-bad-mpegtsdemux_0.10.23.1+git12245+fb0d870-r5_mips32el find on this forum.

Result: 90% of IPTV of my ISP work good (video + audio)

Each channel come with 1 or 2 seconds of time.

Why an old gstreamer work good and not the new version ?

thank you

Pybear

Why an old gstreamer work good and not the new version ?

Because:

1. The GStreamer version you are using is not the latest one (there might be a bug already reported and fixed)

2. The GStreamer version might have a bug unidentified (so someone should do proper bug report)

3. The DVBmediasink has a bug unidentified (I think @MastaG is using multimediasink that has lot improvements and maybe new bugs)

In any case proper bug reporting is required (gstreamer + enigma2 logs).
