Hi, I am wondering if it's possible (and how) to access the red button channels on sky uk platform and particular the bt sport extra channels. Yesterday, these extra channels were supposed to broadcast the uefa champions league play off matches, but I couldn't find the channels on the frequency they are supposed to be (11082 H, according to flysat). I only get extra 1 on that frequency, but it wasn't showing any match at all yesterday.

These channels are going to broadcast again tonight for the ucl matches. Is there any way to watch them via satellite? Are they available via satellite at all?

Hi,

did you look for data channel? Sometimes the broadcaster hide these channel as data channel and a switch to TV with dreambox editor makes them visible.

ciao

Hi, thanks for the response. I was trying to edit my post, but you replied, so I couldn't...

I am aware that they might be broadcast as data channels, but I didn't have any luck.

It seems that these channels are transmitted on 11345 H and not in 11082 H. I read this in lyngsat just now. Problem is that I am outside uk, and I can't receive 11345 H (uk beam). Can anyone confirm this?

Have you read my post? I am writing that I have tried 11082 H. I scanned 11082 H yesterday during match time, but nothing except extra 1 was there. No data channels. And extra 1 was not showing any match at all.

How did you check there were no data channels?

I scanned frequency 11082 yesterday during match time. I loaded all channels to pc using dreamset, and searched for data channels on 28.2E. None found...

Now, I scanned all frequencies on 28.2E, found some data channels, but none of them seems to be bt sport extra channels. I'll try again later tonight.

Can anyone confirm which is the frequnecy that the bt sport extra channels are supposed to be?

Allright, that would explain things.

Do you know whether the champions league matches were on these channels yesterday, because extra 1 did not show anything. Can you check today's matches please?

Zijn het misschien de kanalen 53220, 53230, 53240, 53250 en 53260 op transponder 11344 H??

Yes, those are the ones plus 53297, the mosaic channel. I don't know if there were CL matches on last night but I'm also not sure if the qualifying round already belongs to the CL package. So even if there was nothing on there (or will be tonight) they will probably show the CL matches on those channels.

Are those FTA? Because I don't have any sports in my subscription, which is why I don't have them (the channels) in my list as well...

Hi,

Are those FTA?

Football is the cash cow. It will only be free when they are forced to offer it free by law.

Thought so. In which case it's pointless for me to check, can't see if they work anyway...

Yes, they were showing the play-off matches on those channels and yes, of course they were encrypted.

Thanks! They are on 11344 H, right? But again, the extra1 channel didn't show anything.

Yes, 11344 H, and nothing on the BT Extra 1 or the HD channels. But what size is your dish and where do you live? I'm pretty far off myself (almost in Switzerland) and don't have any issues with this transponder on a T90.

I am in Greece. :P

BT sport 1 HD and BT sport 2 HD didn't show any uefa cl match, but the BT sport europe HD did.
