Hi there, I have runned into a problem after upgrading my OpenPLi image on my dreambox 800hd se V2 I have seen so many sites but they all talked about connecting with a null cable but it's rather unfortunate my box hasn't got a null port at the back . It was working fine before the update. Any help will be much appreciated, please help me out. Many thanks.

And besides this you could well need some special applications due to the fact that you have a clone 800se.

As Frenske mentioned there is *No* official Openpli for V2 boxes.

-No CA error appears when the firmware and security SIM don't match. As a protection against clone hardware. Hence the remark by Frenske.

There are discrepancies:

Original Dreambox with Clone firmware image may produce same error.

Clone Dreambox with original firmware for sure produces this error

If you have a clone (and you know this!) please refer to your 'seller's web-site for support and please don't bother us here anymore. Discussion about clones is not done here..

Thanks guys for your help, to start with the box is not clone, there's a mini usb port. I have tried installing dreamUp but because there's no com port it keeps aborting.

If you have an original DM800-SE V2 it would not have loaded OpenPli in the first place! It would abort with 'Wrong Size". The DM800-SE V2 original runs on SSL #89.

IF you have an original box it would have been delivered with the Dream firmware... So, my question is: When the box starts (from power down! Not standby) which SSL is shown on the OLED display? Where did you buy the box and at what price? If under 200,- it is definitely a clone...
