fankoosh I'm shipping oe-alliances version of rtmpdump by default.
Also once you run iptv-player for the first time, it will replace it with another version.

Not to be bashing kodidirect or anything.
Its great to see pcd putting in effort.
But its nowhere near the quality of iptvplayer and tsmedia in terms of usage.

Last time I had to download all kinds of external components and install them manually to get it working.

Maybe pcd should update the plugin and his repositories a bit, so new users can just install the ipk and install their favorite addons using a one-click install from the main menu.

There is always possible to improve KodiDirect. But nobody is helping me. I need coders to help !

Hi!

 

Great plugin! What may be wrong with filmon-addon!

 

When I try to start it nothing happens! If I press the ok-button again, the blue wheel shows up, but still nothing else happens.

 

I got it to work it once, when I moved all the plugins to the cache folde (ie. to my usb-harddrive). That time the login seemed not to work, but with several tries, it started to work.

 

But it worked only for that installing day, next day, again, nothing happens!

 

I have registered to FilmOn.com and filmon works fine in my pc and android-tablet!

 

My box is Vu+ Duo2 with OpenVix 3.2.021.

 

Where can I find the log to see errors which have to come in this starting the filmon-addon?

 

btw. the filmon-plugin in the SportsDevil-addon doesn't work either anymore.  It gets the folders and everything allright, but the video is jamming and jumping and is not watchable!

uninstalling the rtmpdum and replacing with other version doesn't solve the problem :  the movie start to play but the buffer value doesn't reach to 100% and stop's the movie playng afther about 30 seconds.

i think the problem is the synchronization between the start of the player and the buffer of the stream adress.(wich file is responsible with the view of the buffer value on the display?)

if sombodey have a cloue to solve -thanks

yes, now I have pli4 mstag and I consieder is a fast and complete image for my old dm800

previous I tried  pli2.1 and other cvs images also opena and kodi it was working but I want to find a solution to keep this image because is like a rebirth  for mi old dm800

it is very strange cause the movie starts to play then the behavior of the buffer is abnormal (wich first reach a value, then movie starts, then this value of buffering is complete showing  100%, and suddenly comes to 0 % and movie stops)

Give it some time before playing.

i just updatet kodidirect.

when i go to icefilms-setup, i get a green screen.

 

 enigma2_crash_1453639236.log   17KB   7 downloads

 

after every update i have to go to icefilms setup to set "use meta" to false ( that is not a big deal )

I cannot test icefilms now - the video urls are not opening.

Which video servers (resolvers) worked for you ?

Give it some time before playing.

with this method is working nice, but there are two issues , first : when I want to delete downloaded file by pressing ,,delete,, on icon menu - system enters in to reboot, and second - largest hd file requires more space for downloading, but for shure is solving my problem for now.

It seems to be possible on the full Kodi with a Chrome plugin and using HTML5. So not posible on KodiDirect? What's the difference?

The difference is movie player. 

KodiDirect use E2 system player which does not support DRM.
