Good afteroon,

In my Formuler F3 is disappeared the HDMI output in the a/v menu (exist only DVI, scart and ypbpr) after the software updating done yesterday.

I think that the Video output is anyway in HDMI...i use the HDMI cable and the picture size should be right,in HD).
I tried also to reinstall the openpli image but this not resolved the strange problem (as soon the image was installed the HDMI output was present in the menu but after the updating no!).

Is it only a my problem?
Will be resolved?

DVI = Digital video Interface = HDMI (only digital video output on your STB)

The DVI is another video interface differente from hdmi...
You mean that for OpenPli, from the last update, all the video digital interfaces are included under DVI tag in the menu?

Ahhh.....could be that the stb is connected with the DMI (DVI) port of my tv?

Are there differences between the ports HDMI and HDMI (DVI)?

I'm not aware of any satellite receivers having a DVI connector. So I guess it is wrongly labelled in the program.

Box on top with DVI connector, bottom with HDMI.

The dreamboxes have a DVI connector, as they refused to pay the license for HDMI.

Ah , those no longer OpenPli actively supported STB's? Must be a left over from those ages then, DVI showing up in the

Menu -> Setup -> System -> A/V settings -> Video output:

 DVI

 YPbPR

 Scart

Yes probably but the strange is that the HDMI was present up to last sunday

The video selection is still present from the Dreambox, a change was not made here,

in the ATV-Image it has been adapted and is HDMI.

I have just flashed todays image and can confirm HDMI option is missing..Only DVI/scart etc.

 

Clearly a bug with the image as HDMI was there on the last version..Can you look into it please,team.

Rather a typo then a bug: HDMI is working when DVI is selected.

It's been in Enigma2 since day 1, because the first Dreamboxes had a DVI interface, not a HDMI interface. And it has never been changed.

Before was option for HDMI and now there is none..It has nothing to do with DVI..that has always been there for dreambox..I have a solo2...

 

So why was it there on an image a week ago but now not today??

What is all the fuzz about? There is only one Digital Video output, either with DVI or HDMI connector. HDMI is not in the A/V settings on the xp1000. Who cares. With DVI selected the HDMI works. If someone has the time or feels like it. It could be changed somewhere in time.

No fuss here...Stating it was there before but not now...So question is why remove it?/

I've never seen it changed to HDMI. Perhaps some local translation file that was changed back to the original by it's translator?

well, I'm pretty sure it's been displayed correctly - HDMI port for boxes that have it...
after taking a look in latest commits, this is my first suspect:

Et10000 also dvi and i am not pretty sure but sure that there was displayed "HDMI"
