For those who missed it, HDMI and DVI are completely identical for "home and garden" use, you can use a (passive!) adapter cable to connect one to another.
Also for sound?

Yep... Also for sound.... Dvi can also support sound... (This will not say it is always "pinned"). The dm8000 and dm800hd do prove it...
I think we should call dvi dvi, and hdmi hdmi and nog genaralize it... This is just naming for the user interface...

After today's update: both xp1000(s) are now displaying HDMI in Main menu: Setup: System: A/V settings.

So you say WoL should be working on the 10k? As far as I know it doesn't.

Et10k and et8000 should get wol, but afaik wol don't works on both boxes.

The hardware of the 8k (and I think of the 10k as well) doesn't support WoL, although the /proc does say so.
i.e. the NIC does support WoL, but it can't switch on the box.
So IMHO it is correct that the GUI for those boxes doesn't show WoL at all. Only thing I'm surprised about, is that this is achieved by a 'if 8/10k then no wol' statement; while PLi always refuses such work-arounds for other brands.

About HDMI and DVI, the bitstream and the modulation of these two protocols is exactly the same, including sound in the blanking period. That is why, again, there are passive adapter cords that simply work. Usually sound is not transmitted over DVI connectors, but that doesn't say it's not possible, nor will a DVI-monitor have a problem with the sound in the blanking period. Recent HDMI versions include modulation speeds that are not implemented by DVI, but that's for > HD resolutions.
So I propose to either call it "DIGITAL" output for all models or "HDMI" for all models (as the dm8000 is the only model still supported that has a DVI connector).

I think this is a bad propose... Just krep it dvi and hdmi.... The digital audio outpit and esata are also digital 
But we can consider to just remove the dvi check. Then the dmm8k users see hdmi i.s.o. Dvi....

That is the other possibility I proposed.
But your logic isn't valid, because spdif/tos and sata don't carry video and won't show up in the menu's anyway. It's enough to differentiate between composite, component, scart and "digital" (or any other suitable designation).

I changed on my dm800 hd se image build from 21.02.2015 to 27.09.2015 and realized that hdmi was changed to dvi in settings... Picture quality get worse. It became less sharp and more smooth. Can it be connect with hdmi-dvi changes in using in pli image drivers?

Can't be, the HDMI/DVI issue is a cosmetic one, it affects a display string only. Perhaps you have selected something else by mistake, or perhaps 720p instead of 1080i?

It looks like pli use some new filter or new software. I noticed it when have update my dm800se from 21.02.2015 to 27.09.2015. DVI in settins is not reason, i think so.

Nothing has been changed for DMM boxes in dogs years. Since you were using a 7 month old image, a driver update is a possibility, in which case you are out of luck, that's beyond our control.

Openpli images always have a good quality picture, which was different to original dmm image for dm800hdse. Today its looks like the same((( may be openpli team start to use dmm drivers? Haw can i change them to pli drivers by myself?Is it possible?

Drivers are always supplied by the manufacturer, we use what we are given. There are no "pli drivers".
