HI,

 

ITV Wales +1 (labelled as ITV+1, same frequency as ITV Wales, with Video PID 3245, service ref 1:0:1:2F7B:80B:2:11A0000:0:0:0: ) is displaying the EPG for ITV Granada +1. This isn't usually a problem as the only differences are local news and limited local programming but ITV Wales has certain programming on at a different time and spotted the discrepancy when putting it against ITV Wales. I admit that the labelling on the ITV channels isn't the best in the world, although some are starting to be labelled correctly like ITV Border and ITV Wales.

Ok.  Changed.

 

This happened after I discovered on my receiver several ITV versions without EPG.  I added them as:

Did not have a clue about the exact regional variation, but I hoped if this was not correct, somebody would tell me.  What just happened.

 

If somebody can correct me for the above, I would be grateful.

Would you like me to let you know of any other ITV regions that are wrong? There has also been move round recently too of some ITV services.

Yes pls.  I have no way of finding out which one are which,  Except sitting in front of the TV and zapping and waiting until something appears which identifies the region.

ITV +1 Tyne Tees - this one doesn't show the right guide, it has ITV Granada instead of ITV Tyne Tees, service ref is 1:0:1:2F49:80B:2:11A0000:0:0:0:

I remember all of the ITV +1's on the transponder broadcasting Granada's EPG instead of their own.

 

In order to find which one was ITV Wales +1, I crossmatched the PID's found on KingOfSat with those found on the channel. Certainly a lot less waiting than waiting for a local programme to come on.
