Hi.I'm very new to this and have a basic knowledge ofrom technical terms etc.I pressed my box to do a software update in error and mid ways I turned it off.after thus I tried flashing the latest open pli as my box was running blackhole and an old version of open pli. It flashed but now nothing happens when I tien the box on just a picture of blackhole symbol and then just a black screen. I realise I shouldn't of messed worth the box but I'm really stuck. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks

Make sure you got the correct image, format usb stick again, place image files and try again. nb. I've had this happen to an old duo genuine box, had to revert back to bh 1.6.2 which did work, no opli would work. Seem to remember 3 or 4 years ago something changed in the bootloader but can't remember exactly what (was an epg thing) and they had a separate flash process to get this changed before flashing the new images.

Sounds like a clone with the symptoms described. You need to determine if its an Original receiver otherwise if its a clone then you won't find support here for it.

Various clones are delivered with BH image. If you are absolutely sure it's the genuine article check your downloaded image and try again. VU has specific checks on authenticity and when failed will lock the box (i.e. drivers refuse to load). If you have paid substantially less then could be expected or bought from a chinese webshop you know what's what..
