According to website http://wiki.openpli.org/comparison Solo SE supports limited Transcoding but looks like not in OpenPLi.

 

According to website http://www.vuplus-co...-for-you.18506/ Transoding was tested in the image is Black Hole and works fine.

Yes, thanks, I will fix this.

 

There are two things that need to be changed:

 

- support in the streamproxy; for that I need to have the contents of /proc/stb/info/model and /proc/stb/info/vumodel and /proc/stb/info/boxtype

- a machine feature in the BSP, that's something VU+ will have to adapt, I will send a request

 

I will post progress here.

Hello guys,

 

Can we please recover this issue?

I have a VU+ SOLO SE V2, and the transcoding is not working under OpenPLi.

I've tried using VU+ player (for Android), loading the stream manually through VLC (pc), but nothing happened.

 

I have a Dual DVB-T2/T/C tuner.

 

The image in the TV just freezes for a second while I try to connect to the transcoded stream... and then nothing happens!

I've also played around with the bitrate and fps parameters (reducing them to a minimum), with no positive results whatsoever.

Hm working for me (SoloSE V2 with S2 tuner, I guess it's the same), I can't remember exactly what I did, but look here

 

I'm not sure but I think firstly You need to install Pau.
