Outgoing? Yes, any box that can transcode.

Or do you want to transcode in incoming IPTV stream? Then the answer is no, it is an STB, not a broadcast station.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.

Hi everybody , I bought VU uno4k SE with OPENPLI , works OK , but .... Before i use VU solo2 , there was two video output signal , HDMI with parameters set in menu ( i used 1080p , this signal was connected to my main TV ) , and second video output SCART ( there still was signal 561i independent of menu settings , and i connected this signal to analog RF TV modulator , and transmit in my home network to the others TVs ) Now in VU uno 4k SE is only one video output as HDMI , this output works ok , i used 2160p to main TV , but i have not other output to the rest of TVs . How to split video signal to use one output to main TV , and second output to other TVs , i tried use of HDMI splitter , but device as tested not works with signal 2160p@60Hz , also i don't need 4k signal on both outputs . Also when main TV is off ( sony android TV ) this TV sometimes wake up , for a seconds , and this cause video signal lost for 1-2 seconds on second HDMI output . I have idea connect USB Video adapter ( USB3.0 to HDMI , the better was USB3.0 to SCART , but doesn't exist ) set output resolution to 720p ( this is enought for other TVs ) , but this need driver to second one video card , and create settings to clone video output from main HDMI to second HDMI , is that chance to work , which type of  USB to HDMI adapter will be support by OPENPLI software .

Hi,

USB3 for Video output will not work because of missing driver. HDMI splitter with downscaling is not a simple splitter anymore it is a scaler and more or less expensive. I would say buy a simple Android streaming box and stream you video transcoded through ethernet.

ciao

I can buy cheap USB 3.0 Video output adapter ,this adapter has a linux ( ubuntu ) driver  ( https://github.com/FrescoLogic/FL2000 ) , but this is driver for PC architecture , is it possible to compile this driver for VU uno4k SE architecture ?

I'm not programers , only power electronics specialist .
