Hey Willy,

this morning after the switch back from summer time I cleared my EPG and updated it again. It seems a couple of channels still have some issues:

* BBC One HD (one hour ahead)

* BBC Two HD (one hour ahead)

* BBC Three HD (one hour ahead)

* Channel 4 (one hour ahead)

* Channel 4+1 (one hour ahead)

* ITV 1 Channel Islands (one hour ahead)

* Film 4 (one hour ahead, the +1 channel is okay)

* 5 USA (one hour ahead)

* 5 USA +1 (one hour ahead)

So much for the first batch of channels. Will check further down my list now.

Cheers

Indeed.

A new grab is running.  (and that looks OK).

And the list continues (UK channels):

* Sony TV (one hour ahead)

* Sony TV +1 (one hour ahead)

* CBS Reality (one hour ahead)

* CBS Drama (one hour ahead)

* More 4 (one hour ahead)

* More 4 +1 (one hour ahead)

* Food Network (one hour ahead)

* Food Network +1 (one hour ahead)

* Travel Channel (one hour back)

* UTV HD (one hour ahead)

These are just the channels from my favourites, there may be more with time switch issues.

Cheers

The grab is still running.  And the result is a bit mixed.  Some channels are OK, others have a completely wrong schedule (shifted one hour).

And still other channels have today wrong and the rest is OK.

Cannot make head or tails from it.

Will upload the new files asap.

Files are uploading now.

Give it another hour to let the different website synchronise.

Hi,

is there a solution for adjusting EPG for daylight saving time? The STB time is right but EPG is one hour early.

I'm having similar issues with Rytec and my own XMLTV. I remember this happened last year and within a day or two it was solved, annoyingly though they don't code this automatically and so have to wait for the person to come in and manually do it.

Just to report back, EPG is fine with this afternoon's update. Thanks @Willy, I know that all those websites you grab don't make it easy for you.

Cheers

In this case the worst affected was the UK file.

And I even found why this went wrong.  This particular website publishes the start time of a show in UNIX format.  (the date and time is given as a number like this 13413600000)

This has to be converted to the normal notation.

The problem was that all times given on that website were in summertime at the time of the grab.  (Before 04h00 - my timezone) Which is in the UK still summertime.

The channels which I grabbed from that website after 04h00 were in the correct timezone, and the schedule was correct.

This means that in the future, I cannot grab this website between midnight and 04h00 and the date of the time changeover in the fall (and 03h00 in spring)
