Hello,

reading http://www.dream-mul...2566#post132566 there seems to be a missing option in openpli :
"It's here on newer OE2.0 based images: Menu > Setup > System > A/Vsettings > Convert AC3+ to AC3.".

I guess my TV and my amplifier aren't able to decode AC3+ because I don't get any sound if the previous channel isn't in AC3 but sound is just fine if the previous channel broadcast in AC3 when I switch to AC3+.

Anyone know how to add this to our beloved openpli ?

Hi,

I do not really understand I think:

When you switch from MPEG audio to AC3+ audio you have no sound

When you switch from AC3 audio to AC3+ audio then you have sound?

 

If this is correct your amp seems to support AC3+ but you might have a handshake problem. Have you tried switching input to a different HDMI input and then back to force handshake?

 

I never heard of some plugin which reencode audio.

I suppose you have a Dreambox. Then this beahaviour is normal with OpenPli.

You should try SatDreamGr image (derivate from OpenPli). Here this issue is corrected.

Yes I have a dreambox. It would be great to have it fixed in OpenPli, I will look at SatDreamGr images which I never hear of about before : thank you very much.
