Also on my receiver.
The schedule comes from the homepage of Fox. This probably needs maintenance.

Sorry, made a mistake.  The schedule is on the fox website (under the bonnet) now in GMT.  It is actually in UTC time.

I forgot to correct for that.  So the schedule in the XMLTV file is now 2 hours off.

Will upload the correct schedule asap.

I noticed that on channel Nat Geo WILD HD via Ziggo with ref id 1:0:19:4cfa:81c:600:ffff0000:0:0:0: has an incorrect EPG

The EPG info is from a National Geograpic channel but not for the feed suplied from Ziggo, so the EPG info shown is always incorrect, wrong programs etc..

When i go to https://www.ziggogo....ids-replay.html the info on that EPG page is correct but completely different as suplied by the rytec feeds.

Hope this can be fixed.

This service ref has a schedule attached for NG Wild, but it is the one for Canaal Digitaal.

The solution is a separate grab for the Ziggo version.  I will add this now.

Let me know tomorrow if the situation has been corrected.

Willy

PS:  I see that NGC already has such a separate schedule.

Have you forced a new download of the channels file?

And cleared all old EPG in your receiver?

In order to do this, restart enigma2, and do a new import..

In the attached screenshot, I have attached both the schedules of ziggo and Canaal Digitaal (TVV).  They are different.

PS: both schedules are in GMT.

yes i did, but stull the guide is not correct, i think it is a different one as before but still not the correct one for Ziggo.

For example, every (working) day round 17.30 (17.24-18.11) the (rytec) EPG on my box lists: Incredilble dr Pol:  xxxxxx

But the Ziggo EPG (ziggogo.tv) list the following progam 17:10 - 18:00  Animal Fight Club

In reality everyday the ziggo guide is correct and the rytec EPG shows the wrong program, the program running at that time is Animal Fight Club and not Dr Pol.

I prettty sure this is not the only wrong program of thus channel :)

15.07 - 15.57 animal fight club
That is what it says in the left schedule taken from Ziggo.
Remember it is in GMT so you have to add 2 hours. Enigma2 does rhis automatically.

The above schedules are taken from the XMLTv files which you can download.
I wonder what has gone wrong.

hmmm, ok but is still do not understand exactly what you mean.

How do i get the correct EPG then at this channel?

I cannot find any option to assign an EPG to a channel.

And which EPG must i use then for the correct EPG details?

Had some time to think about this.

There several reasons why this can happen.  In order to import EPG, the schedule has to be present in the XMLTV file.  This has been added the day for yesterday under the name "NatGeoWILDziggo.nl".

Then this schedule has to be linked to the correct service ref in the channels file.  Also done the day before yesterday.

<!-- NL Ziggo New --> <!-- Cable --> <channel id=" NatGeoWILDziggo.nl "> 1:0:19:4CFA:81C:600:FFFF0000:0:0:0: </channel><!--  Nat Geo Wild HD  -->

The files have to uploaded to the server.  Check.  All mirrors contain the correct version of the rytec.channels.xml file and XMLTV files.

Since you are still observing the old CD schedule on the ziggo version, there must be something else wrong.

That is on my side.  Now your side.

For importing EPG the plug-in needs to download 2 files:  The rytec.channels.xml file and the XMLTV file containing the data.

The rytec.channels.xml file is downloaded only once a day.  Any subsequent import reuses this already retrieved file.

The next day the file is again retrieved.  But for a reason which still escapes us, in some receivers this file is stuck and is not downloaded again.

It should be enough to restart enigma2 to fix this.  But sometimes this is not enough.  Then the only action that helps is giving your receiver a cold reboot.  A cold reboot is shutting down your receiver the normal way.  Cut the power for 5 minutes.  And then reboot again.

In the EPGimport plug-in select the option:  "Clear all EPG before import"

Import again.

You understand hopefully that I am trying to guess what the problem is in your receiver.

I checked on my side and cannot find anything in error.  Although there is plenty that can go wrong on my side.

Willy

On ziggogo.tv there is Dutch EPG for Mediaset Italia, could you add it to the dutch EPG-import?
