Hi Willy,

 

it seems that ORF1, ORF2 and ORF3 epg data is not available for the usual number of days. Till last week ORF epg data was available 6 days in ahead - like for all other stations. Since few days the data is only for next 2 days available.

I have checked rytecxmltvGermany.gz file and all orf tags are incuded in xml file, but ORF program info is only for next 2 days in the file. So it seems it's no client side problem.

Indeed.  The schedule is empty at the grab site.  Replaced it with another website.

I wrote in 2 Threads and need help whats the right adress to get the xml.gz Data for German/Austria/Swiss.

The location of the files are in the plug-ins.  No need for any-one to access these files directly.

We already had enough problems with very badly written programs, which downloaded the files every 5 minutes and this for every channel.  So one machine could request a 1000 files in one hours time.

This resulted in a denial of service.

 

This badly written program was included in Kodi.

 

In Kodi there is now a plug-in available which downloads the files in a correct way.  Again there is no need to know the exact names of the files.

Hello OK,

 

I use the Plugin in my ET9000 with Pli without problems, but i have now a new Receiver Openbox SX6.

 

With this Receivers also possible to insert xml.gz since last firmware. But here in Openbox i need the server adress and the data will than downloaded to the box directly.

So i thought i ask here for the adress.

 

Too bad to hear that here the Rytec team does not support it. Because Rytec have the best EPG Data.
Do you know by chance another way an address for Germany / Austria and Swiss?

Very easy, Since you have OpenPLi, open /etc/epgimport/rytec.sources.xml in an editor (the internal editor of DCC will do)

 

In this file you will find all the needed info.

Hi Willy,

 

Unfortunately no longer. I had the ET9000 the data but not stored ;-(. And in the Openbox SX6 runs its own image and, therefore, I need the address because there is no plugin directly but only the possibility to enter the address in Menu of that Receiver.

As I do not know how this software is written, I will not risk giving you the information.

Having very bad experiences with unknown software, made me carefull.

The problems with Kodi still exist, since the author of the program still insist that his program is not at fault.  The plug-in is still being distributed.

 

If your Openbox SX6 uses the (part of) Kodi software, we will be at risk again.

Cannot determine this, as most of the info in the net is in Russian.

Fixed it so far thatyou have a schedule.

However if you miss too much details, I probably have to grab from a different webpage.

Hi Doglover,

is it possible to add three more channels to the Austria section?

They are all IPTV channels, so I created some fake servicerefs.

 

- Arcadia World (Austrian version) 1:0:1:92B0:7C5E:EC:0:0:0:0

- Ländle TV  1:0:1:F78C:6DF2:EC:0:0:0:0

- Tirol TV   1:0:1:3DF2:1C82:EC:0:0:0:0
