Seems like Solo2 cannot use pvr on demux0. Maybe we hit another (driver) issue, because now it tries demuxes in ascending order.

You have custom build right?

You can add this if(!fe) i++; just before line if (!fe && !(cap & iDVBChannel::capDecode)) to force 2nd+ demux for pvr?

PS. The above if is extra line

PPS. I will simplify allocateDemux, although if we hit a driver bug it would be nice to inform manufacturer

Then I think we have a driver issue.

Today the update will land to other users too, so lets see what receivers have issues using the demuxes in asceding order for pvr usage.

I think we should perform a test where we assign pvr/demux pairs manually, so we can test them one by one.

I think that no need to continue, we can assume that it is a common problem of vu+.

We did a perfectly normal change, required for future development, that appears to trigger a bug in the VU+ drivers.

Don't worry, we will arrange for a workaround (as usual).

It's a generic issue, not related to a plugin or a specific way of playing back. It's a bug that is triggered in the VU+ drivers...

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.
