I just reflashed my solo2 with the latest image (9/11)
the system player plays all the formats fine except the recordings (.ts)

Yes, apparently the drivers of the solo2 have a quirk where they expect only certain demuxers to be used for playback. We're investigating this. It will probably lead to a bug report to VU+ and then we will have to wait...
* Wavefrontier T90 with 28E/23E/19E/13E via SCR switches 2 x 2 x 6 user bands
I don't read PM -> if you have something to ask or to report, do it in the forum so others can benefit. I don't take freelance jobs.

which build is not affected by this issue?
I assume that if I reflash my solo2 with that "safe" build and do the update I end up with the very same problem right?

It seems timeshifting still doesn't work. We're looking at it. We do know it's a bug in the VU+ drivers that is triggered.

Timeshift still needs to get fixed.

confirmed timeshift not work dags machines ... not just on vu + .. timeshift activate ok ... but black screen and does not play

We don't make software for "dags machines"...
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.
