Hi to all

I have setup my old DM 7000s with a Pli image on it, all is OK apart from the satellite xml file that is very old.

I have tried to change it but every time I copy the new one in, when I look into the file it has the old settings, I even tried cut and paste with the same outcome !

Meanwhile there already is being looked at why the satellite.xml isn't updated since months. As I've read, there's a good chance that the solution for this issue will be created during the coming weekend. ;)

If I had all the knowledge I had no questions at all.

That`s good news, but how to do it manually? like I do with my Duo2.

Put a channel list in it using Dreamboxedit or some other tool that support E1 format. That will install the satellite.xml too.

Assuming it has access to the same satellites as your Duo2, you can just pull the channellists from your Duo2, delete everything in MPEG4 (which the 7000 can't receive), and then upload it to the 7000 in E1 format.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Nice touch.. I own a DM7000s too, but it has been stored away for years now! Running on Pli Jade with the walking "La Linea" figure in the LED display at boot-time..

Have used it 1,5 year ago to help a fellow hobbyist with his DM7025+....

Was a wonderful box...

Still got two 7000's here, and a brand-new 7025+. Can't seem to make someone happy with them anymore...
