Bored with the buggy Crossepg I managed finally to install XMLTV plugin manually to Enigma 2 Dreambox..

But no epg data is imported.

After trying and  all google sources my question:Is there any hope  or should I give up ?

 

I cannot upgrade the plugin through telnet as its not recognized because installed manually

Outdated rytec.sources.xml file.

You will need to update this.  Problem is which version do you have.  The OpenPLi version or the OE-Alliance version.  The OE-alliance version does not understand the OpenPLi sources file.

And OE-Alliance version has several updates which each time a different way of getting the source file.
