well, I meant without the --force-overwrite ;)

But they're installed now.

reboot your receiver and you're good to go.

Hi MastaG Good Morning in this Christmas Eve!

It works perfectly, you are Great!

A last question or request:

I'd like to use the other DVB-Usb :August DVB-T205 PC  with chip  RTL2832U

with my other STB: DM 800 SE.

Could you write  the exact commands like the ones you give me for the other USB module:

opkg update
opkg install --force-overwrite v4l-dvb-module-dvb-usb
opkg install --force-overwrite v4l-dvb-module-dvb-a867

Many many thanks and have a beautiful Christmas this night and tomorrow.

Hello,

I running this image on my DM800 and I notes that the memory from the flash in nearly full.

What can I delete to make more free space in my flash with this image?

Thanks,

Regards,

Michel

The image allows you to run OpenPli 4.0 on a box that isn't supposed to due to its very limited memory! Just for this we should thank MastaG. OpenPli itself has suspended development for this box long ago.. Last official OpenPli was version 2.1 (now in archive). MastaG has gone to great length to offer OpenPli AND Gstreamer 1.x.. This however leaves the box with a 91% full memory. Add a simple channellist, at least one softcam and (in my case Ziggo only picons) and you are up to 95% full flash. Box is still working perfectly. If you want to add even more, a USB stick should be mounted to allow extra plugins to be installed. Filling up the internal flash above 97% mostly creates run-time problems due to lack of temp space...

DM800HD is a box which should be having no more support , this includes all other teams images that stop support dn800hd eg: openatv , openLD &openpli4 too , coz it has limited memoery & it has old lack of performance ot its old hardware specificatipn & not even ok with iptv requirments hardware , send it to museum better & purchase vu+solo2 , soloSE or solo4k

Is in this image a FTP connection?

I have a problem, I cannot login with putty SSH ( root ) acces denied.

What is the username and password? to login with putty

I also start the image to factory default, but no success to leave the password blanc or enter dreambox

Here's another batch of images.

Changes compared to openpli-oe-core gst-1:

- Ships with gstreamer upstream master git:
Using the same patches as openpli-oe-core gst-1, no changes or extra patches added.
Only patch I've removed is: 0001-baseparse-post-tag-list-when-avg-bitrate-changes-at-.patch,
because that patch is already accepted and commited to upstream git.
- Every receiver uses christophecvr's multibox dvbmediasink.
- Using libtrmp and rtmpdump from oe-alliance.
- Some small enigma2 patches for Dreambox receivers (ac3/dts bypass and blanking on zap support).
These are only applied for Dreambox receivers.
- AAC to AC3 transcoding V2 by mx3L (requires a fast cpu).
- IPTV Player from samsamsam included (thx to Athoik for the recipe).
- Large list of public IPTV streams included thanks to the Japhar Team.
- Updated libcdio and cdtextinfo for audio-cd support by Christophecvr.
- DM800Se, DM7020HD and DM800SeV2 driver upgraded to 20151201:
  added si2166b blindscan support
- Spark images includes the pti.ko from OpenATV so softcam's should work now.

- DM800 kernel will now always pass the vermagic check when loading modules.

Now you can try and load any DM800 2.6.18 kernel module from OE1.5 to 2.0.

Please respect the forum and don't mention any OEM or unsupported receivers.

Instead PM me if you have a problem with any of them.

Known issues:

Basically playing static mp4 files from internet urls (eg http or https) will most probably fail.

The dev said he was looking into it.

- DM800 first boot will take a while, please be patient. The next boot will be faster.

- On spark/spark7162 you need to set 'boxtype  =  dreambox' for oscam dvbapi.

We're using the OE-A drivers and 'duckbox' doesn't seem to work on these.

Please report your findings, even when everything works it would be nice to know it works :-)

If something doesn't work, then please attach an url or a sample of the media you're trying to play.

Happy testing!

Hellow

link is not working dm800hd se

new link is required

thanks

Try: opkg -list | grep v4l-dvb

Check if there's a module for realtek.

I'm not sure and I currently don't have a DM800.

Hi MastaG,

I tried with your suggested commands above,

the result is:

opkg:unrecognized option ‘-list’

opkg must have one sub-command argument

any suggestion?

Thanks a lot.

Bye

Hi MastaG, thanks but I obtained the same result:

opkg:unrecognized option ‘--list’

opkg must have one sub-command argument

Do you have other useful commands to test?

Bye

Expect them later this week.
