Just to report that christophecvr's patch has not fixed playback of this stream

https://cdn.video.playwire.com/19850/videos/4369729/video-sd.mp4?hosting_id=19850%22%20bitrate=%221200%22%20height=%22480%22%20width=%22854%2

whilst the 'pad' error has been removed it still just buffers to 1% and doesn't play

St.O

That's right------DM 800 HD SE ...Please update ...

mx3L found the commit which broke mp4 playback from remote locations (http/https).

I'll build new images soon with the revert.

Then it should work again :-)

yes you'll be able to do a software upgrade since it takes me too much time to upload new images to mega every time.

I'm building now.. started fresh so will take a while.

Hopefully tomorrow or monday :-)

yes, that's really kind of him :-)

I moved from the build source to my Fedora 22 machine (core i7).

Which is more stable.

It took me a while to patch all the host tools for gcc5 (binutils, mtd-utils, cross-localedef, subversion etc).

But now it's running OK.

However while it's cpu if faster and has twice the ram, I'm building on a normal  sata hdd instead of a ssd drive.

So I guess the first build will take a little longer.

@sportfootbol,

Ter info it was not my patch (I just tested new revidions on gstreamer).

But indeed the service :

https://cdn.video.playwire.com/19850/videos/4369729/video-sd.mp4?hosting_id=19850%22%20bitrate=%221200%22%20height=%22480%22%20width=%22854%2

Was sometimes stuck sometimes it worked.

The others worked all fine by me.

But now with the qtdemux-revert patch made by mx3L, It's always working nice.

Does nobody has a playback problem with recent mkv files? The problem is always at the beginning of the playpack when Enigma switches to 24p mode. Then the TV turns black and only audio is playing. Solution is to jump a couple of seconds forward, then video is back.

Same problem is when enigma stays in 24p mode and I start a 25p playback. After the switch to 25p the TV is black and only audio is playing. Jumping forward brings back video.

When enigma is already in 24p mode and I start another 24p mkv then video and audio is ok.

So the reason for the black screen seems to be the switching to another mode (24p to 25p or any other changing)

The problem persists with every mkv File I have.

sportfootbol not yet bro,

I've been away with the family today.

I hope to have them ready later tonight or tomorrow morning.

I'll post a message here when the feed is ready.

I'll also upload new images but that will take a little longer.

Well then,

Thank you for the confirmation christophecvr !

I've updated the feed for all receivers but not the OEM dreambox receivers (those are still building).

Changes so far:

- mx3L's revert which fixes mp4 playback from remote locations (buy him a beer ;) )

- Spark drivers updated to 20151113

- Using aio-grab form oe-alliance with spark fixes

- Everything was built from scratch on Fedora 22 which features gcc5, so many recipes for host (native) tools needed patches.

Let's hope nothing broke. UPDATE AT YOUR OWN RISK!

- New Japhar IPTV List (thanks to ToySoft).

- Removed the linux 2.6.18 kernel patch for ignoring the vermagic as it might be the cause of some instabilities.

Fresh images for all receivers will be uploaded tomorrow as I'm going to watch a movie now (Lost in the sun).

Happy testing!

If yes can you please confirm that everything got updated succesfully?

Please report back.

Thanks.
