I have asked for such functionality many times but hardly anyone seems to understand there are people who like to see this sort of information.

And then why are you not using the hd glass 16 skin that works nicely with openpli?
Just install the ipk and configure as needed.

The default skin displayed the caid:provid that is used for descrambling this is the more meaningful information.

Some channels have really many different caid:provid

I guess that you should ask for this in plugin/extension like OScamStatus or OScamInfo and if it is for some sort of debugging it will be easier to check what happen from the OScam webif than having it in the skin.

hd glass 16 skin is one of the only skins that I use on a daily basis to the original skin. I can report that it's okay this past summer.

Of courese, you have been warned, and it is a free choice to use it. Thing you asked, it makes it well.

As far as I know, HD Glass 16 "skin" modifies some Enigma2 files so I'm not going for it. With your setup you may not experience any problems, zeros, but a lot of people do.

That is why I would welcome an independent solution. It could be something shown in Softcam menu. For me it does not have to be in the skin although it could also be an extended version of Second Infobar.

Why do you need that kind of info?
You know which card is in the reader or not?

Out of curiosity.

It does not matter which card is in the reader (I know it is eg. CAID 0100) but I have been used to this sort of information from many years ago. Even Humax 5400 could do it nicely.

One can also ask why you need so much information and so many customized options in the menu, but I like them all and would appreciate even more.

If you have a very special requirement for the skin you could:

1- find a skin that supports it already, or

2- ask the author of the skin of your liking to add this, or

3- modify the skin yourself. The result can be either supplied to the author, hoping he will add it, or be placed in you user_skin. The latter means you're your own boss :)
