Hi,

I'm using the timeshift built in Openpli image, but there is no option to keep timeshift recording or to record from timeshift. How can I keep a recording from timeshift on Openpli?

thanks.

When you stop timeshift, then select save

that is, if you have set the setting "ask user", in settings. ;)

You can also press recording button. There you also should see 2 entries "save" and "save and move to movie directory".

Thanks, I just tested this and I found those entries, funny thing I'm sure I tried it prior to write this post, and nothing was there, I'm not sure why.

By the way, how long does it record in timeshift? 1, 2 hours? is there any settings to modify this?

Thanks.

It records "forever". I'm not sure but most likely not longer than one day. And no, there is no setting to change that.

Good thing it will not stop whenever an epg event ends. I will stick a 32GB usb in the back of the box, it will be good enough for the timeshift I believe.
