Hi,

i have a VU+ Zero with latest (12/22) image of OpenPli, i have installed "pau" extension and i can record dvb-t and sat channels without problems on my usb external hard disk drive.

My problem is when i start record of a iptv channel (either directly or via timer), the box start recording but the file in /hdd/movie are 0 byte.

The iptv list are into a userbouquet.tv file and i navigate them from channel list.

What should I do in order to record IPTV channels? With another decoder, DM800SE, same IPTV channel list, registration takes place without problems.

Thank you for suggestions.

So with dreambox it works and with your VU not. Right?
Perhaps the IPTV server only permits one connection per client. So start a recording via timer and select a non Iptv stream before the timer starts.

Hi betacentauri, thank you for response.

When the VU+ Zero start recording, the box are in stand-by, and not on Iptv stream. Apparently the recording start, but the files on /hdd/movie are 0 bytes and no other box are active, only VU+ Zero.

I think the problem is the same to "pau". On the base image the "pau" extension are not present and if i record a dvb-t or sat channel, without pau extension, the effect are the same (0 bytes files). Installing the pau extension resolve the recording of dvb-t / sat channel but not recording of iptv channel.

Have you a idea about? Thank you and sorry for my english!

If really the pau extension is the problem, I cannot do anything. Well, in this case nobody can help except VU.

I have just tested on my VU solo se, which also needs pau extension. I have installed pau extension and watch a SAT channel. Then I set a timer to record an IPTV stream. It works (filesize grows and grows). Please try at first with a normal iptv stream like this:

#SERVICE 4097:0:1:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:http%3a//wdr-mp3-m-wdr2-koeln.akacast.akamaistream.net/7/812/119456/v1/gnl.akacast.akamaistream.net/wdr-mp3-m-wdr2-koeln:WDR2

It's a german radio stream. So no video.

I tried all but no success.

With official OpenPli image, extension pau, my stream, your stream, other stream, box stand-by, powered on dvb-t channel, the recording of iptv channel seems to be ok, but the file size = 0.

On all other channel (dvb-t, sat) the recording is ok.

The VU+ Zero have a problem, gstreamer? Nobody have VU+ Zero with OpenPli and IPTV recording issue?

Thank you betacentauri but no recording iptv for my VU+ Zero...

I give up. The VU + Zero with OpenPLi not record IPTV, they are melted. Recording starts, it ends successfully, the file is 0 bytes.

Did you install pau?

Yes!

"Vu+solo se" recording ok (sat, dtt, iptv)

"Vu+ zero" recording ok sat and dtt but not recording iptv.

If it only doesn't work on one box then I guess it's a driver bug. I have no vu+ zero and cannot test it.
Nevertheless can you post an enigma2 log?

What service ref do you use?
A 1:... ar a 4097:...? I only see a 1:... in the log. And I see that you try to use timeshift. Timeshift don't work for 4097 service refs.
Only when you use 4097: service refs it can be a gstreamer issue otherwise gstreamer is not used.

4097 is an experiment, but it recorded a file (.stream) 14.5 MB for 1 minutes
File: ok
Channel ko (freeze)

With 1: etc etc recorded a file (.ts) 0 bytes
