Hi

Is there anybody there that is using MediaPlayer2 and is able to see the default skin in VFD (progress bar, remaining time,..) when playing stuff with Mediaplayer2. I've tried to edit the screen_display.xml file and made some changes but it's not working, and I'm not sure if this file is used..

?

I guess you mean "vfd".

The display uses "skin_display.xml".

Changes to this file are lost when you upgrade. Best is to copy your changes to "skin_user.xml" so they'll survive an upgrade and will even be part of a standard backup.

Yes, VFD, couldn't edit it after I was aware of the typo.

(could some moderator edit topic title and first post for future help for other users?)

Thanks.

<screen name="MediaPlayerLCDScreen" ...> does the trick for both default mediaplayer and mediaplayer2

There's no default vfd skin for media player plugin that comes with image.
