Happy New Year All...

SKY.NEW HD Skin (V3.0)

Installation:

Telnet command

opkg update && opkg install -force-overwrite /tmp/*.ipk

You will also need to extract the SKY.NEW folder 

Ftp it to: /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/DreamPlex/skins/ 

The Restart GUI

Go to Menu->DreamPlex->System->Settings

Change Used Skin to SKY.NEW

Press Green to Save Settings

Exit DreamPlex and Restart GUI 

To get the Dreamplex Skin to Work

Enjoy & Hope you all like it.

Looks absolute great ! but sadly i cant seem to install it.

It looks like PLI wont let you install it.

I am using the latest update off yesterday so i wonder why.

But I must say, excellent job !

Please advice.

Thanx mate. Glad u like it. Nest way 2 go about it is to extract the ipk files and manually ftp all the files and folders to their respective location in you reciever and just restart the box. Do not forget the font files as well as the renderers and converters.

looks great - I have installed this on my vu+ solo2 but when I press up I get the channel list, but the 2 boxes on the right are empty instead of showing the now and next program data.  This works on the default PLI HD skin?

 

Also - is there an easy way to change the EPG button on the view remote to launch the graphical multi epg rather than the infobar?

You need to have all the renderers and converters in the right place to have the epg to display properly.

I just checked and they are in /lib/enigma2/python/components etc, they were not executable so I changed this, but the guide still doesnt show correctly.

 

Note the graphical multi is perfect, its just when I press up and get the channel list.  This view has 2 blank boxes on the right hand side and a frozen picture on the top right rather than a box with the live picture coming through.

U need to delete the same name files in your receiver before you ftp the ones you have extracted. Both the renderers and converters.

You then need to reboot your receiver.

Great skin chababu & i think its fair to say the best sky one for enigma2 yet.
Your ipk file is missing the usr directory so the files are landing in the wrong place e.g /share instead of /usr/share so i have rebuilt it & also included the dreamplex skin so both files from post #1 can be installed at once.

For the telnet install opkg update is only needed when you need to retrieve files from the internet so for installing with ipk wildcard the command needed is simply this.

opkg install -force-overwrite /tmp/*.ipk

This sort of worked for me but I had to change the "Number of Rows" setting to 12

 

The EPG screen looks like the attached though, any ideas?

You need to press the yellow button to change the cool tv guide screen to cool guide nice screen or which ever you prefer.

I dont use cool tv thats y. I have skinned the images graphicmultiepg screen tho for those who dont use cool tv guide.

It should not be luggy...it has less graphics and faster than v2...u need to have enough space on your receiver.

plenty of space mate but it has slight delays when scrolling down the channel lists. iv went back to v2.5 and is much smoother. im using a vu solo2

Hi I have tried to install on a duo 2 as this skin look exactly what I have been after, I have followed the procedure but now when I boot up it still runs only the standard skin and if I open Dreamplex it just crashes the box and restarts.

 

Have you got any ideas?
