Hello,

I've just installed OpenPLI5 on my et6000. So far so good.

I have few questions:

Is epgpids.custom patch implemented in openpli5?

and

how do i update the feed and compile it without compiling and downloading everything from stratch?

and

if there is chages to kernel would it be updated through opkg upgrade?

thanks.

1. no clue what you mean

2. everything is cached so an update only downloads and compiles what is needed. type "make" to get instructions on how to build feeds only

3. yes

The F4 and F4turbo have been available for quite some time. Not sure what you mean with "others".

There is no PLi5.

If you mean if they are supported in the current development environment, the answer is absolutely Yes.

We're working very hard on the next release, but as this is hobby, not work, there is no schedule.

Is there anything I can do to fix it or does the code for WeTek Play needs some further work by the developers?

It´s my first try to compile an enigma-image, so I´m a bit helpless.

Thanks a lot,

Not supported for the Wetek. There will be no next OpenPLi for the Wetek Play, their BSP doesn't support the newer gstreamer.

The branch in which the next OpenPLi is developed is called "develop" (as the name says). Please do not refer to it as "OpenPLi 5", that seems to confuse people.

Then maybe the title of this thread needs to be changed... ;)

Core branch is develop, So if I also want enigma2 develop branch is this automatic? Or does it have to be set in openpli.conf?

Also, do you still need to build the plugin separately like it says here?

That is automatic, "develop" OE uses "develop" Enigma.

For the time being, all other repo's (like plugins) still use "master", until there is a need to split these into a "develop", "release" and 'stable" (which is needed when an incompatibility between two Enigma releases/versions is introduced).
