Now it works I well needed to create own patch for dm8000 the one from git would not apply (dunno why as my own created looks the same).

 

for dm8000 it's included here

 

 

But I think there should be done something so that there is latin codec support to utf8 in python. I'm afk that in time much more problem will arise . Also with e2 self once seriously works are started for subtitles and so on ...

Also for translations problems in time could arise I think at start for German and French as example.

Note on master-next feeds compile package astra-sm needs to be removed as it does not compile. not on vuduo2 or dm8000.

also extra report about the master-next with the openembedded gstreamer-1.8.2 . gstreamer very unstable on vuduo2. wma does not work (in despit the fact that gst-libav is installed).

 

To solve I do have my own gstreamer-git 1.9.0.xx that works fine even very good on vuduo2 and dm8000

version is that from today 2016-10-11 .

I guess OpenPLi will never choose an unstable version of GStreamer, as mentioned before.

Also a choose was made, to stick with OE version, so that means GStreamer 1.8 will be used.

Most probably when OpenPLi 5 will be out, if lots of errors reported, it might reconsidered to use custom GStreamer instead of OE one.

Astra-sm builds once for same architecture due to common libc-headers, strange that you are having issue cause I didn't notice one.

About gstreamer was already known for more then 3 to 4 months that all gstreamer versions between 1.6.x til very last below 1.9.0 are particularly unstable on all stb's . A  lot does not work and that's the best case. A lot of times full stb-freezes occurs . As from 1.9.0 it's back ok.

But for me no problem I'm using my own recipes anyway.

i was have the same error for my solo2 

and atoik sayd delet the sm from config file

 

and it work  but i had a probleme is the tuner  doesent working when i send my bouquet file their is signal but it stay black screen when i do search nothing appear

My system is ubuntu 16.04 x86-64

pli master-next fresh 100 % fresh clean new clone on 10-10-2016 clone

build from scratch. Machine vuduo2.

 

maybe it is build on old almost deprecated i686 arch ??

maybe it was build with an older compiler first ?

Although I plan to upgrade astra-sm to current head, because it gives the possibility to use T2-MI on streams and Enigma2 since today is possible to stream T2-MI

Patch does work but still build issues. It does apply and is applied but still no build this time due to other reasons. But there something wrong looks like it search the host system to find ffmpeg that is wrong. And will anyway made a contaminated package on the box.

Looks like the cross-compile environment of package is not set well. 2 it will require ffmpeg binary installed on box if You want to use it.

Most probably it tries to do something using your ffmpeg located at /usr/local/bin/ffmpeg

i have always this error with openpli or oe alliance  i don't know how i fix it and just with dreambox image 

for vuplus everything is ok

Complete fresh clone needs to be done from master-next and all the rest. That's the only solution. Then a build from scratch. I had the same when I update the master-next I had. Then rebuild. After I erased all and cloned fresh all (only sources I keep) all goes fine.

That's happens more after an general openembedded upgrade especially cause now there is a bitbake update a python update gcc update libc update and so what all.....

O yes I forgot also to build e2 with last master-next also something must be changed. And update somewhere caused that into :

is not ok any more they to require an integer value as second parameter, and it has something to do with error-management. I as A hack used patch below in order to work-around I used 0 since in error management ussually it means ok.

 

But this is a hack as I do not really now what they wan't the guys who changed that.
