I see the picons are not with traditional reference filenames. They are with channel names.
I understand I need to install something on my box for it to be able to use these picons? What is it?

SNPicons are part of OpenPLI, you should not need to do anything.

Just out of curiosity, if there are both service name picons and reference picons inside /picon folder, what is the algorithm? Do reference picons have a priority or not?

for oscam: if IC_name.tpl if defined in oscam.srvid2 name is used if name not present, IC_0000_000C.tpl (encrypted) or IC_FFFE_D337.tpl (FTA) is used.

Reference/conventional picons take priority.
