I'm started to get a weird error I don't understand, can you help me out?

For some reason beyond me this line:

VH-1 CLASSIC

Produce this:

6ac5ad26d84e3e1fbf31f2919376b742.png

What is happening?

Soon I'm giving a very big update. Did a lot of work.

I also test on my box, so it will be very accurate.

Where did you get the HOT service ref before me btw?

Was there another Israeli user that uploaded them?

I cannot cater for anybody personal setup.

But you can make a configuration for your situation.

Two methods (which give the same results):

But he is right.

The service ref file has a lot of other services that have nothing to do with Israel...

Why are they there in the first place?

Can it be a file of only 4w/yes+hot?

I understand this file is shared between all packages, but I see other packages that use the il extension.

And they can take precedence and cause errors if they're further along in the list.

Solved both issues. I can merge them now.

The issue I had was caused by accidentally replacing all the underscores in all open documents with colons.

Why is webif references are separated with underscores if we need to change them all the time?

It is very annoying won't you agree?

A lot of fixes and goodies.

I've solved the problem with hot. You can take as much as you want now in one go.

I've left it up to you to consider if you want to merge them or not (for sake of speed).

In any case I've modified the files to be able to marge them easily.

You need to run hot site file first.

Included:

1. cables.xml file for hot

2. userbouquet file for hot

3. both Israelwebgrab files

4. Services file

5 Five days xmltv for all channels

In the services ref file I took only the Israeli section and separated it form the rest.

The data is already sorted alphabetically, so it's just plug and play.

No need for the other stuff. It will best if it can be kept this way.

The same for the epg date file.

I don't understand the need for all this superfluous data in there in the first place.

It suppose to be Israel not OSN.

Anyway... Hot is just about finished.

A few channels here and there but almost everything has epg now, and it's pretty accurate.

I'll let the users community in Israel to find and report what is left to be fixed.

Small changes from here on until it's perfect.

You had been of much help, willy. Couldn't have done it without you.

From knowing almost 0 about the epg system, I've learned a lot this week.

Everything starting to fall in place.

Next update I'll start filling up gaps in yes also.

It will be only next week as I've wasted already much more time on this than I thought...

At least it will just get easier from now on.

btw, it was bugging me to ask, is the xmltv id case sensitive?

The erro actually says where the error is. Line51, Position 38

Around that position there is a typo or other error.

No, Webgrab can generate these as well. In the Siteini there are some blanked out lines after : ** ##### CHANNEL FILE CREATION (only to create the xxx-channel.xml file)

Activate these lines. i.e. remove the * in front the line

and run webgrab. And a new channels file is created.

Afterwards do not forget to put the * back.

It is actually the Middle East file. Started out as a file for OSN. OSN has disappeared since.

Now besides Israel there some odd channels included. If I have to make them separate they would make a very small file.

(Contains also BEinSports and an odd collection)

Yes I agree. But there is nothing I can do.

I get the service reference from the Webif. Right click on the stream symbol next to the channel, And chose copy URL.

Now paste this somewhere. You can get the service ref from that line in the correct format.

I tried the channels file with my off-line importer.

Found out that following channels are not linked.

Unknown channel: LBC.il
Unknown channel: 9.il
Unknown channel: Hustler.il
Unknown channel: AngelTV.il
Unknown channel: MTVMusic24
Unknown channel: HalaTV.il
Unknown channel: Rai Italia.il
Unknown channel: TVR.il
Unknown channel: CANAL24HORAS.il
Unknown channel: TR1.il
Unknown channel: DW Deutsch.il
Unknown channel: RotanaCinema.il
Unknown channel: TELECLUB.il

Can you link them? Or should we disable them in the grab. (It is a bit a pity spending time to grab them if they are not used)

This is for the xmltv ids. I was speaking about the service ref.

As this is a local cables channels, you couldn't have gotten them yourself.

I get the service reference from the Webif. Right click on the stream symbol next to the channel, And chose copy URL.

Thanks for the tip.

If I have to make them separate they would make a very small file.

It's not so small anymore. It's getting bigger and bigger everyday now.

Can you link them? Or should we disable them in the grab. (It is a bit a pity spending time to grab them if they are not used)

Keep them. I'm following this list and already fixed many of them.

It is a good remainder.

The fixes are not showing yet as I've changed the IDs in the grabber.

For example:

DW Deutsch.il - Removed the space here

MTVMusic24 - Corrected to Music24

Next update they we'll be gone (a few days).

It will be an easy fix as you just need to edit the service file.

I've commented this line by mistake. You need to uncomment it.

Hustler

I you know of a good place to grab the rest of the adult channels please fill the appropriate info.
I've already created the channels references for them.

Yes and no.

First of all, enigma can handle only one language. Although in the definition of enigma2 it was defined to handle more than one language. In practice it is only one for each channel. For different cahnnels it can be a different language.

I could grab a second language (if a schedule can be found) and add it as a separate EPGref. You could link then the language of your choice.

But this becomes complicated.

I can add the 2 languages to the same file. Unless I write a program for doing that. (and I have other cats to whip)

About merging 2 XMLTV files.

2 methods:

1. I am using TVXB. Another grabber for EPG data.

2. Manual method.

Remove the last line of the first XMLTV file.

The line with

</tv>

Remove the first 2 lines of the second XMLTV file.

The following lines:

<tv generator-info-name="WebGrab+Plus/w MDB & REX Postprocess -- version 1.1.1/53.17 -- Jan van Straaten" generator-info-url="http://www.webgrabplus.com">

Now attached the second XMLTV file at the end of the first file.

Save the file. Done.

In the Middle East file the largest part is the Israeli section.

The other channels which are in there are only a small portion. And providing these other channels in a separate file would be a ridiculous small file.

Will add this:

<retry channel-delay="5" index-delay="4" show-delay="3" time-out="5">4</retry>

to the Siteini file. So when downloading from this website this will always apply, even if there is something else defined in the Webgrab configuration file.

These values however will cause a very slow download. Did you try out smaller values? f.i. show-delay="2" or show-delay="1"

The adult channels:

I do not know what kind of schedule they have.

Take a look here:

Maybe you can find something with the correct schedule.
